  • It is very good, maybe the best there is. Quieter than any other.
Style: Universal Shifter & Handbrake
The #1 thing about this shifter that makes its really stand out from the crowd is that it is quiet and pleasing to the ear. It surpasses all the competition in this regard. If part of your goal is to have a sim rig that doesn't sound like cheap clicky switches, or chunky metal-on-metal thuds that echo through the hollow metal of your rig, than this is what you want. It is the closest to what you feel in a modern unmodified sports car. It does not feel cheap, it is heavy, obviously with lots of metal in the build, the exterior has a very nice feel to it. It comes with two knobs, H shifter has a cheaper feel but feels equivalent to most entry level cars these days, the seq shifter knob is perfect and very well made, it can be adjusted for either +/- or -/+, you can also use your own knob. There are multiple length shafts as well that you can use. You can clamp it or mount it, the clamp is a socket head cap screw driven clamp, it is extremely strong. H shift is slick and smooth, it is very satisfying to use. The sequential shift is the best I have ever used, superior to the MOZA Sequential Shifter and without the CLICK CLICK CLICK CLACK CLACK CLACK CLICK CLACK CLICK CLICK CLACK CLICK CLACK CLICK that comes with that thing. Software works great, calibration works great, everything works really great - I saw there are a lot of people on reddit that talk bad about this shifter, I am convinced most of them have never used it or maybe did not calibrate it. There is nothing negative about this shifter that I can think of, the price point is so low that if I wreck it, I can buy another one, and still pay less than shifters that I think are comparable. You could also use this for all kinds of different things because of the seq/handbrake mode. I recommend using the USB handbrakes you find online for about 50 to 80, they are better than this for a handbrake, but I think that mode could be very useful for some levers if you are building a crazy simulator of some type. Very good very premium feel when using it. You do not need to use the turtlebeach wheel with this for PC - I use it with my MOZA. ... show more

  • A great general purpose shifter
Style: Universal Shifter & Handbrake
My sim racing setup is an amalgamation of Fanatec wheelbase and wheel, Thrustmaster load cell pedals, and this shifter. I previously used the Thrustmaster TH8A, which is great if you're looking for an H-pattern and will exclusively use it for that. However, I wanted something that offers sequential shifting and the ability to transition from H-pattern to sequential with the flip of a switch, and the Multi-Shift allows for that. Using the H-pattern actually feels pretty close to a real car: When shifting into gear, there is a slight bit of resistance as you enter a gear, adding that little bit of immersion. It has 7 speeds plus reverse, and features an safety requiring you to push down if you want to enter either seventh or reverse. There is also a button for high/low gears, so it can be used for sim trucking as well. It also shifts right into gear without any delay. I had heard of issues on this shifter of there being a slight bit of lag on shifting, but this appears it was possibly a driver issue, and primarily an issue when directly plugged into Turtle Beach's wheelbase. When plugged directly into the computer, I had no such problems. Sequential shifting is accessed by simply flipping a switch on the right side. I don't have any other sequential shifters to compare it to other than the TH8A in sequential mode. It feels good; definitely not great and snappy, but it does the job. It also feels better than the TH8A's sequential and doesn't require you to remove 4 screws and rotate the unit just to access the mode, so it has that massive advantage. You can also use it as a handbrake, though I definitely feel you should have a dedicated unit for that rather than use this. Build-wise, it's predominately plastic, with the exception of the shaft and the optional included shift knob (and I imagine some of the internals). It's not an all/mostly metal affair like the TH8A, but the Multi-Shift is definitely not a lightweight, so there must be more metal inside. You do have an option of 3 different shaft lengths, depending on your shifter mode or preference. The plastic shifter knob definitely feels cheap, so I leave the metal knob on all the time. It's meant for the sequential shifter/handbrake, but I find it's just find for H-pattern. If you're new to sim racing and want a shifter that's a great H-pattern and good sequential shifter with an easy way to switch between the two, this is hard to beat for the price. If you're only looking for an H-pattern, there are certainly other, cheaper options and I would look there first before considering this, but I would still recommend you check this shifter. Judging by reviews of the other Turtle Beach sim racing products, this is their best effort. ... show more

  • I’m very happy with this wheel and you will be too!
Style: Wireless Racing Wheel
After reading all the reviews about multiple wheels with pedals and without pedals I decided to go with this wheel. We live in our rv so the lap system was a great option for me. I have 8 hours under my belt now and I am very pleased and satisfied with my purchase. I found overall quality is very good. The weight could have been heavier to give it more stability on the lap and desk mount alike. This wheel functions as described and is easy to setup. You must make sure to use “Turtle Beach Control Center 2” app for setting up the wheel and getting tweaks to your liking. Do NOT download and spend an hour finding out that the app “VelocityOne Tuner” is not the right app. The setup card that comes with the wheel and the ai assistant on the Turtle Beach web site both tell you to use the VelocityOne Tuner app. It doesn’t work. I happened to see on REDIT about using the correct app and it was a seamless process from there on. ... show more

  • Not recommended for someone primarily using it as an h-gate shifter
Style: Universal Shifter & Handbrake
I recently have switched to this from the logitech shifter and it is definitely better. Its feels great and isn't to mechanically, ive mainly been using sequential mode and it works great as a hand brake or sequential shifter. But if you’re primarily using this as an H-gate shifter, it is quite stiff and will increase the amount of time it takes to shift. If you only need an H-gate shifter there are definitely better options available for the price but if your like me and use it for a variety of things it will definitely be worth it for you ... show more
