This is my favorite general purpose filament. It prints easily and well. The resulting parts are surprisingly tough. I have used it in a variety of printers including Prusa and Bambu for years now. Note that this now comes on cardboard spools, and require adapter rings to use in the Bambu AMS. The one problem I have had with this filament is that if it is left under stress between prints for a day, it tends to break into pieces. This seems to depend very much on the local humidity. I see this problem in Seattle but not Toronto. I've learned to manage it by keeping the bend radius high on my feeder tubes.

I want to start off by saying this is the most MATTE finish I have EVER seen out of any other brands like Overture, Elegoo, Etc. The texture of the filament is perfect for hiding layer lines and just making things look nice and smooth/clean. However, this means the filament is even more abrasive than other matte filaments. Thus, I would advise keeping an eye on any nozzle wear and tear after printing with this material for a while. Or, use a hardened steel nozzle just to be safe. Overall, spool was neatly winded, great adhesion, and good value.

Its fine, seems to be durable, and prints well after calibration. The reason it's not a 5 star review is that both spools I bought (one white and one black) have snapped like uncooked spaghetti while printing... it's not a problem with the whole spool but rather just short sections of it... so... 4 stars because it's a minor inconvenience for me and everything else seems fine.

The first time I got a roll of eSun PLA+ it became my favorite FDM material - and years later, printer has changed, but favorite filament has not. These days, I do wind up buying mostly the BBL house brand because the RFID autodetect in the AMS just makes things super easy -- but -- its worth noting that this filament, in my experience, prints exactly perfect on a P1/X1 with the stock BBL PLA Basic profile. In fact, I may have even respooled the esun onto the bbl roll so the RFID works o_O. Maybe. In any event, realize that coming from most other filaments, you will want to print this a bit hotter. 220/55 on a PEI plate works great for me with no gluestick. On my old janky frankenstien machine I used to print at 230 but that had an aftermarket all-metal hotend that required higher than expected temperatures. Esun themselves suggests 60 on the pei buildplate for the Bambu machines, but I haven't had much of an issue with 55 as long as it's clean. Lastly, according to Esun's tech data the PLA+ already counts as a "high flow" material, even slightly edging out the BBL house brand on volumetric flow max. (22 vs 21 mm^3/sec). Again, no problems at all printing with the PLA Basic profile - even had one print start on the last of my esun roll and finish out on bbl with no issues. Anyway, this stuff is great.
