I bought this for a 2A project and decided against using it. It sat in a non-airconditioned room for 2 years 11 months and 2 weeks. I didn't dry it at all. First project: I needed an adapter for a dash camera and thought I'd give this a go. Printed very well, the end result was very sturdy and usable. I printed that one at .12 layer height, 240 nozzle, 70 bed and an enclosure (Qidi Q2) temp of 40. 100% infill and 30mm/s first layer followed by 50mm/s for the rest. Second project: I printed some 5 inch high numbers for a new mailbox. PETG is supposed to be weather resistant, so we'll see. They came out very smooth, this time at .2 layer height and 50% infill. I was able to use some Rustoleum paint to change the color. I baked them at 200F to set the paint and they came out really good. My third project was a cap for a 4 inch drain pipe. Took 5 hours since it was 45mm tall, and this time I manually sped up the speed to 60 then 72 mm/s using the Qidi software and it also came out good. Slipped onto the pipe perfectly. Never had any warping or tangles or any type of problem. If I run into any weather-related failures or other issues I'll try to update.

This is my favorite filament. It's so pretty, and prints well. I've printed through probably 30+ rolls of this stuff going back to 2019 when I had an Ender 3. If you can get it on sale, even better. I've tried a couple other transparent blue PETG's and this is my favorite, just based on the color. The overture transparent blue PETG is very similar in appearance but this is just a slight bit darker, not enough to notice in photos, but enough to notice in person if they're side by side.

We use a lot of filament both PLA and PETG from multiple vendors (eSun, Sunlu, Elegoo, Creality, Bambu, etc.). We dry it, store it well, tune our printer as needed, and almost always it means prints go just fine. Worst case we add a skirt or some extra supports or something. This black PETG from eSun has been absolutely terrible. So many misprints from stringing. I'm not sure what miracle is needed for this to work but I won't be buying more and will be quite cautious of any other eSun going forward.

I have had such a hard time with this purple PETG. I wish I could give this a negative review. It will print fine and then the next print will be horrible, there is no consistency! Yes I have dried it, yes I have turned the heat up, turned the heat down, and more. My final straw was when I did a 5 hour print. I watched of for the first hour and it looked perfect then it printed horrible the next 4 hours!

I had a heck of a time getting this to cooperate at first. Adhesion issues were the biggest problem, even with glue and different settings. There's nothing like walking in to retrieve a 10+ hour print to find a giant ball of purple spaghetti. That was the first third of the spool until I started adding bigger brims and more supports to keep it in place better. Overhangs aren't a problem, just the print staying put. I haven't had any major issues since doing that. I will say though, this is a deep vibrant purple that prints beautifully when it stays in place. I didn't have any tangles with the winding at all, the spool is empty and I'm waiting on another to be delivered so I can finish this project. I have ordered a couple of different build plates to try also, we will see if that helps.

Worked nicely, like other PETG I have used. I ran a "temperature ladder" test from 260 C down to 210 C in 5 degree steps. The recommended temperature on the packaging is 230 to 250C. I found that all temperatures gave good overall structure, but with quite a bit of stringing. Raised letters were best from 225 to 245. Indented letters were best at the coolest temperatures and got steadily worse (but never bad) as the heat went up. The surface was shiny except at 210 and 215, where it was dull. In the photo the stringing looks pretty bad, but remember that this was printed with no supports. Normally a flat area like that would be supported. I printed a small box, about 60 x 80 mm with hollowed 3 mm walls. It looks much better that the test ladder, though there are some thin strings to clean up.
