The Estwing E14100PVCR 1/4" x 100' PVC / Rubber Hybrid Air Hose with Brass Fittings is constructed of hybrid materials, giving you the strength and flexibility of rubber with the light weight of PVC. Pliable in even sub-zero temperatures, the hose lies flat or coils up nicely at the end of the day. All weather flexibility lets you work anywhere from -40 degrees F to 164 degrees F. Bend resistors prevent wear and tear at the joints, and a kink resistant design prolongs the life of the hose. The 1/4" NPT industrial fitting and universal coupler are made of solid brass for better performance and increased durability. Reaching up to 100' long, this hose delivers 300 PSI for maximum working pressure and the extra length comes in handy for not having to move heavy air compressors as often. The hose is fine. But it smells like I needed a prescription from a sketchy Dr. And got it from a dispensary. I mean really? This thing is stinking up my garage. It sure as hell wouldn't make it through the airport. WTF?

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Arrived as described. This is my second hose in 3 years because I liked it so much I bought the 2nd one for my recent garage installed air compressor. The hose is a nice color of blue. Very flexible and very easy to roll back up after each use. The fittings are brass and seem durable and long lasting, based on the hose I purchased a few years ago and use on a semi regular basis. The fittings coupled with all my current equipment without any detected or noticed leaks. I expect both hoses to last me as a homeowner for many many years to come. You never know what to expect, but I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality of this air hose, particularly at this price point. It seems well constructed, the connectors aren't leaking, and works great with my Arrow stapler. I keep it spooled and hung up when not in use, and it easily lies flat at the next use rather than trying to hold its shape and being hard to manage. I'm at sea level in warm climate, so can't speak to its longevity or ease of use in freezing temps. ... show more
