I just read the above review, and it must have been because it was a gift. The actual lip pencil is wonderful, sharpens easily, color lasts and easily applies. I like it so much better than the automatic type.

This is the worst Estee Lauder product I have ever gotten. It was given as a gift in a recent purchase. I cannot sharpen this pencil because the fake wood is so hard. It is an oddball size so it doesn't fit in any other pencil sharpener. I tried a knife to sharpen it. Too hard. Doesn't go on very well. ... show more
