I've tried quite a few that would not last the day and would smudge and you end up with it under your eye, looking like you have a black eye. This one goes on smooth, then I smudge it a big while its still wet and as soon as it drys, its there to stay for the day. This was the retractable one that you can turn up and don't have to sharpen. I got the brown in this eyeliner and there are lots of nice things about it, it applies really evenly and the consistency is creamy and soft. I wish it could be buffed and blended a slight bit easier but overall it’s good. And I guess that makes it pretty smudge resistant. It lasts all day and the color is great the whole day as well. This pencil is difficult to sharpen, does not blend properly and just snapped off at the top after using it a handful of times. Refund policy requires contacting company - Amazon will not return or exchange. Very disappointed.
