This is a fairly conventional headlight with three intensity settings. There's one button and control is simple: long press to turn on and off, short press to change brightness. It outputs a pretty wide cone of light - about 45° on each side - which for me seems to be a waste; I'd prefer a narrower, longer-range beam. But I do all my riding on paved streets and paths, never off road, and some people may find the wider beam advantageous. I found the medium setting to be perfect for me - the dim setting didn't really put out much light (although it is visible to drivers, if that's all you need) and the bright setting didn't show me much more of the road. It has what it calls an "intelligent mode" which senses vibration and automatically shuts off after 20 seconds if it doesn't sense any (and will turn back on again when it does). Personally I didn't find this useful; when I'm riding, I want the light on, even if I'm stopped at a traffic light, and I'll remember to turn it off when I'm done riding. It also claims to be waterproof, but it also says it may malfunction when exposed to heavy rain. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't call that waterproof. The mount is good; it's a typical friction fit around the handlebar, with three pieces of varying thickness of rubber included to ensure it's tight. It took me a few minutes extra minutes to install because it's somewhat difficult to get the nut that the adjusting screw screws into into the correct position to receive the screw. Once that's done, to install the light, you just mate the two connectors and rotate the light 90° counterclockwise to lock it in place. Much better than my old light that used a spring clip that was difficult to insert and had a tendency to fall out on bumps. At any rate, it is a good light, but the price seems on the high side compared with other lights available for about half the price (at the time of this review).

I honestly don’t know how some reviewers are saying that this light is not bright enough. This light is perfect for night rides on dark bike paths and streets. It’s important to use a light that has a cutoff angle to not blind pedestrians along the trail. This light has a unique reflective element that not only allows for a generous cutoff angle, but also lets the light spill out to an evenly lit beam that has a wide throw angle. I usually prefer to have a light with an evenly lit beam compared to a hot spot in the middle. It just feels more natural and easy on the eyes. SUPER IMPORTANT DETAIL: some lights that claim to be “super bright” only hold that brightness for about 10 minutes, then start to dim as the battery heats up, leaving your light output to not be as bright as when you first turned it on. This headlight DOES NOT DO THAT, and stays at the same brightness for the entire use of the light. Love it! I don’t even feel the need to use the brightest setting on my light, I stick with the middle brightness setting and you can see the output in my photos. It lights up my surroundings more than enough while not blinding people in front of me. Battery life is pretty great, haven’t had to charge it yet and it’s been about a week of use. Mount is pretty stellar as well. Nothing bad to say about it! For $30 at time of purchase, it’s a no brainer.

The media could not be loaded. Over the past few years, I've purchased several different lights from different manufacturers, but this light has been the biggest surprise. It offers such a high-quality bicycle light at a low price. It has 3 solid modes and 2 flashing modes. It's incredibly bright in the high setting. Medium brightness is perfect for me, it provides sufficient illumination for night riding while maintaining longer battery life. It has a sharp cutoff beam that achieved through a reflector, preventing glare for oncoming traffic and minimizing wasted light output. I think this is very important, especially for lights with a high lumens output. Since this light has a shaped beam, it should be always mounted right side up. The mount can be flipped over with the supplied hex key so that it can be mounted below an out-front mount combined with my bike computer. The light housing is made of aluminum alloy, sturdy, durable and exquisitely crafted. I am very confident in its lifespan. The mount is great! Made of tough plastic, and comes with three rubber spacers to lock your light firmly onto the handlebars. Compatible with both Garmin and GoPro interfaces, you can easily find a variety of mounting accessories to suit your needs. Overall, this is a great bicycle light. Unlike others that falsely advertise "10,000 lumens" or misleading "anti-glare" claims, this is a purpose-built lighting system designed specifically for cycling. True lumen claims are very important. I recommend this light to anyone.

First off, the 2 stars are not for the light itself which is a well built light. The 2 stars could even 1 star, just for being cheap!! I wanted the light mounted to the underside of my Rockbros mount, so you have to take the mount off the bottom of the light and mount it on top of the light. While I'll admit I'm the one whom lost the TINY screw which is less than a 1/4'' long and black, would it be too much extra cost to toss a couple of extras in the bag?!! An extra washer was included, I've got 20+ years worth of RC screws, 1000's and I could not find one that was the right size to fit that Garmin mount! It is useless with only one screw in the mount, 2 hours searching and I gave up and tossed a brand new light in a drawer never to be used because of a simple Cheap screw! Buyers Beware, if you unscrew that mount, make sure to put a white towel down to work over, or call me, I have a screw you can have,,, lol
