This mascara is AMAZING! I tried it out tonight, not with a full face of makeup but just to see how it applies. I’m super picky about clumps, but I didn’t even have to use an eyelash comb! My lashes were full, held curl, and looked long. I use waterproof mascara because my lashes fall with regular, and this did not disappoint. I kept adding layers to see just how many I could get before it got globby but I lost track since it works so well. My new favorite mascara! I showed my mom my lashes and she immediately added this to her cart she was so impressed. 1,000% worth the money, it’s so affordable! And it was easy to remove with makeup remover, no harsh rubbing. I like this even more than the Lash Princess version. Please come out with fun colors in waterproof so I have an excuse to buy more! It’s not often this straight, blonde lashed girl falls in love with a mascara like this!

For those with shorter lashes this essence Lash Without Limits Extreme Length Waterproof Mascara is probably 10/10. I always get bad raccoon eyes as my eyelashes touch my top and bottom eyelids so I had really high hopes that this waterproof version would be my solution. It went on really smooth, without clumping, and it is buildable. I love how it makes my lashes look long and full so that part is great. However, it still transfers to my skin. The smudged pictures were taken about an hour after application. I’ll still use with other makeup modifications to help prevent transfer, but I’ll still try other products in the essence line to hopefully find one that is perfect for me! Update: after the initial raccoon eye, the mascara holds up well even during water sports. For a mascar under $5, its well worth it.

Being waterproof, I hoped that it might counteract the general softness of a volumizing mascara formula, but unfortunately, I'm still experiencing some smudging. I have chubby cheeks so a slight amount of racoon eye is to be expected with most volumizing formulas because they tend to be softer and less long wearing than a lengthening formula. This is easy to apply and the price is definitely good, so overall I would still recommend it, but if you're like me with some chubby cheeks you will need to anticipate some smudging.

The mascara works as it should, it gradually lengthens the lashes as you apply the product and makes them look naturally longer. They do not look like spider lashes, they don’t flake off and they last all day for me. The mascara holds a curl and gives me more length than other brands I’ve used. It’s easy to apply and the texture is perfect, it’s not too wet and doesn’t take long to dry on the lashes. I have short, sparse lashes and this mascara separates my lashes and makes even the shortest lashes look longer.

This mascara is one of my favorites and I've tried ALL types over the years. High end expensive ones, regular drug store ones which hold hype etc this is great for waterproof gals and guys especially if you get watery eyes from allergies. It works great and you wont get "spider lashes" clumpy looking lashes. This evenly coats and looks beautiful. Grew price too!!!

I bought this as a dupe for Tarte tubing mascara and I will say I am very impressed. Price point is incredible. The wand itself was a little flimsy and was a curve for me to use, but I got used to it. However, I put this through my wear and waterproof test and I will say it is not that waterproof. I wore this for 24 hours and it stayed on beautifully! I went to shower and I put my face under the water once - didn’t wash or rub my eyes - and after I got out I looked like a raccoon. I haven’t tried this in the water the same day - without waiting 24 hours - but I was a little disappointed. If I had been in the rain or even on a water ride at a theme park I feel like I would’ve ended up as a raccoon. Not what I expect from waterproof mascara.
