Very nice & helpful piece of furniture in small condos. I was able to put it together by myself and only walked away twice, lol. It's sturdy and easy to transition from the sleeper and back into the chair. Only thing is I wish it was a bit softer, but it is certainly NOT hard as a rock or anything like that. I originally bought this for my reading corner and thought I'd sit in it maybe 2 or 3 times a week. This is my go to study area for when I'm doing my college courses or reading for fun or honestly just need a nap. My kids love taking naps in this thing too! It's big enough to sit in with one of my kids and it's great for when we have guests come and stay or if someone just wants a middle of the day nap. Purchased this chair to mostly use as a sleeper for house guests. Arrived in three boxes and assembly was easy. One of the arm rest panels had a 2" tear in the fabric that the company put a loose patch on that fell off as soon as I opened the box. The tear was well hidden once assembled so I gave it a shot. The cushions are very stiff which is not terrible as a chair. The big problem was trying to use it as a sleeper. The metal box frame has two cross bars that dig into your hip and shoulder when laying on it and makes it extremely uncomfortable. Several of the reviews I read before purchasing said they used a mattress pad to make it more comfortable but it would take another thin mattress to keep from feeling the frame bars. Even a 90 pound teenager could not sleep on it with a padded mattress topper. I attempted to return the item since it said FULL refund in 30 days on the items listing but the company said I would have to pay for the expensive shipping and a 20% re-stocking fee. When I requested a copy of their return policy since it appeared different than the one listed with the product they just offered me a $20 discount and said since it was too expensive to ship that I should try to sell it myself. Repeated attempts to return the item for a full refund were refused by AECOJOY-US. Bottom line, the chair/sleeper is cheaply made, VERY uncomfortable, arrived with some damage and the companies customer service is non-existent. ... show more

It arrived FAST. 2 days early actually which was nice. One box had some damage but the product seemed ok. Assembly should have been easy. Just a handful of hex bolts with allen wrench included. Easy peasy for someone like me who has extensive experience putting together flat pack furniture. However the assembly was not easy for me. The threaded inserts where the bolts get screwed into were off by 1/16" making it really difficult to get all the bolts lined up. Before you ask, NO, no I did not tighten some of the bolts down hard before threading them all in. I was a good boy and tried to get them all threaded in part way before tightening. The problem was that either the insects were off by 1/16" or the metal frame was off byb1/16". Either way it was a wrestling match, and I ultimately won the battle. I am a six foot tall, 225 lb guy and I had to put all of my muscle and weight pressing down on the corner to get 3 of the bolts in. So make sure you are prepared for a potential battle. Other reviewers said that assembly was easy, so maybe I just got a bad unit. One minor annoyance is that the bolts and washers come coated in a lubricant/oil. It's probably to prevent the hardware from oxidizing, but it sucks to get greasy hands and then be expected to put your oily hands on your brand new upholstery. When in "chair mode" the seat is deeeeeeeep. It's ok I guess, but not super comfy for regular sitting. For my purposes it will be fine because it will go in my kid's room and my toddler and I plan to curl up for bedtime stories on this chair. There is enough room on the seat for both of us, and she can pull her legs up and get cozy. Lastly, I wish the ratcheting back has three settings, but I really wish it had one more that is a bit closer to vertical. Because the seat is sooooo deeeeeeeep the angled back feels really far back. When in "chase lounge mode" this seems pretty great. Good for reading and relaxing. I will have to get back to you about "bed mode" because I haven't slept on it yet. I expect it will be pretty good... especially compared to sleeping on the floor. As I mentioned above, I got this for my toddler's room, and the bed mode will be a massive upgrade from me sleeping on the floor next to her crib on those challenging nights when thunder, lightning, fireworks, etc make her too scared to sleep in her room alone. ... show more

I absolutely love the color yellow. I’m not a big fan of the fabric. It is a little rough and itchy. They’re not the most comfortable. They are stiff and sturdy for sure.
