As a college student, this product is essential to my class workflow. I use it to take notes in class and love it for that purpose. This bluetooth stylus works much more like a real pencil compared to a rubber tipped non-smart stylus. This allows me to write on my iPad just like I'm writing on paper. It pairs instantly and doesn't require me to manually pair it; simply turn it on and it's ready to go! I have two complaints with this product. #1: The tip of the pencil is extremely firm and creates a click-clacking sound when writing on an iPad. This can be a cause for distraction in a quiet classroom compared to a normal pencil or even typing. #2: The pencil turns off very often when it is not actively being written with. This doesn't affect me much at all but is something to be considered when using it. When the pencil turns off, you simply has to tap the top of it to reactivate it and then you'll be good to go.

I honestly didn't want to spend $100 for a official apple pen and when I seen this product that was a little apprehensive, especially because it was extremely affordable. However, after using it for a while, I really do love the product. I did see previous product reviews where they were talking about how it's not good for artists. However, I've been using it or drawing and coloring and honestly I don't see anything negative and using it. The battery life is honestly really good, would I like it to be longer lasting of a battery Yes however the battery on this has lasted me a very long time and that's just a me being lazy.

This what I noticed…while trying it out in photoshop the pen pressure, one flat line. No line variation, meaning I couldn’t get Thin to Thick line. The line didn’t appear until I lifted it from the screen. Professional digital Art, probably not a good match. I think for just about everyone else , would be worth the value over an Apple Pencil. The Apple Pencil sensitivity is targeted for the digital artist anyways .To connect, I had to charge Pen/turn on Pen. 2: iPad I had to shutdown and restart with pen connected.

Update April 2023: Customer service refunded me for the product. I have added one star for prompt, persistent customer service. Stylus continues to function well. Update March 2023: After posting this review, ESR customer service contacted me. I was informed that the review wasn't necessary for the extended warranty. Also, she said she would pass my feedback along re: the charging cover. Based on the prompt response to the written review, I felt I should update the review. Also, the stylus continues to function well for my not so careful 14yos even with daily use. Works as described. I have two - used for 2 weeks so far. Cons - the charging port cover is not attached to pen. It is the size of a baby tooth. Just pitched it - where am I going to store that while charging? In order to get the upgraded warranty I have to fill out this review. Pros - works as described. Nice that they include the extra stylus tip.
