2nd review: As I learn how to pack the filter with coffee and froth the milk with the steam wand, I realize that this machine is not bad. I gave it another star to reflect my feelings about it. It has its flaws but does its job fairly good. I still want it to make the coffee creamier/frothier though. As I mentioned in my first review; cheaper machines actually do a better job at that. Maybe with time I’ll be able to get it to make the espressos the way I want. I’ll review it at a later time as I get better and use it more. First review: Not as great as the reviews make it; I started by following every instruction that came with this espresso machine. once I was done setting it up and cleaning it from the inside out, I wanted to see if it performed well making an espresso coffee... I am not completely satisfied with this machine. It doesn't froth the coffee as it states in the description everywhere from the documents inside the box to the descriptions in Amazon. it took a while to make the steam wand work the way it is supposed to. The materials it is made from look good and also feel good, but it is still not performing like it should. I don't think the amount of espresso coming out according to one or two cup selections is right (meaning it is way too small). What got me disappointed is that I got better results from a much, much cheaper espresso machine with manual controls (which is not a bad thing to have at all). I wish this one had manual start/stop knobs or buttons instead of automatic control buttons; at least that way I could control how long and how much I can get from the coffee grounds portion and maybe get the frothing I am looking for. This machine is very expensive and I expected it to work as such. I will update this review in a few days as I try to master it and see if I can get the results I should from a "Top of the line" home or domestic and very expensive Espresso Machine... ... show more

    • The gage doesn’t work
The gage does not move, water spits before its make coffee or frosting, there is no foam on coffee like picture show, the frostier is not foaming the cream, make watery instead. The machine came nicely from original manufacture box, I had followed instruction before make my 1st cup of coffee. I suspect the machine defected from manufacture. I like the machine with just enough function I need and the taste from coffee it make. But I want it work as it should be. The pressure is importance to make espresso coffee, if the gate does not work, there wont be enough pressure, I guest. I was email COSIKIE for trouble shoot but they have not yet answered. Adding to 4 star: updates: I love this taste make by this machine! The gage still broken, it’s slowly move up to very little today. If the gage work properly (up to blue line…) this machine would be perfect. I just keep the machine then… the price is covered that gage problem! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've been using this espresso machine for about a week now and it makes really good coffee. I have not had any problems with it but I also set the machine up and ran water through it four times with the porter filter locked in place. When there's enough coffee in my cup I hit the button and turn it off or it turns off by itself. But it gets good pressure and it has nice froth on top of the shot. I use a slightly oily Bean. Too oily of a bean causes too much pressure and to dry of a bean causes no pressure. ... show more

I made review as follows : "Ok, but milk frothing does not work well; I guess the steamer pressure is not enough to make latte art. It means steam is too watery to make enough density froth." And I got an email from the seller as follows : "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding your order and would like to offer you a full refund for your purchase. This is my second espresso machine and what a nice upgrade!!! This machine grinds with multiple settings 1-15, coarse to fine. The frother is a bit louder than I am used to but gives off quite a bit of steam and froths the milk very quickly. The machine comes with a tamper and all the other tools you need, but I would probably invest in a better one to give you a consistent tamp... I learned that from my first machine and invested in a consistent pressure tamper. There is no temperature control for the coffee but there is for the steamer. Overall love this machine so far! The coffee grinder works beautifully and it is the quietest I've ever heard. The pressure gauge is very responsive and the included accessories were a big plus. Also the machine is beautiful in person. Just be aware that there is a bigger learning curve with this machine than other simpler machines and the instructions may be a little hard to follow. The portafilter is SUPER TIGHT. Hopefully it will need less force after repeated use. Also note the espresso won't brew if you don't have the steam knob on the off position. ... show more
