I liked the purple version of this that I got for my wife, that I went ahead and bought a blue one for myself! Absolutely love these! We have ridden over 25 miles in the last couple of days, and the battery indicator hasn't budged from full charge. Having the most fun we have had in several years being able to ride together again as folks in our late 50s. We rarely step it up to three four and five speed, these things can really fly! The pedal assist is wonderful, keeps you and a partner at the same speed. Jack it up to number five and you better have a helmet on! The walk assist is great, also! I have a $300 mountain bike that I'm going to sell because I can ride this ESKUTE in normal, non-power mode easier than I can my normal bike! Takes about an hour to assemble, but it's pretty easy! Seat height is easily adjustable and solid. The seat is great! No need to get a gel seat or something fancy. Very very comfortable! I have upgraded mine with rear view mirrors and the Keto Moto saddlebag set.... Plan on saving some gas and writing to the grocery store weekly... Very highly recommend this ebike! By the way, by the $299 bike and pay the $200 shipping. That way you're only paying tax on $300 rather than 500! ... show more

So far I have 900 miles on it and it has been the best. Not only is easy to assemble since the back wheel already comes installed. But riding is great, one issue tho the seat can get uncomfortable if you ride it for long distance, another thing is the battery is hard to take off once you unlock you gotta put some good strength to it. It’s not advertise for two people but it holds really well with two people still managing the same speed and power. For 600 dollars I wasted on it, it feels more like a steal really good value. And the battery life it’s really good, but I feel like once it goes down to 60 or 50 the power goes down pretty quick going up hills I don’t know if that may be me since I tend to stay in the 3rd gear which is 20 mphs. Overall Great purchase but I don’t believe it should be for teens under the age of 16 since it goes pretty quick. You should definitely use pedal most of the time, avoid using the throttle all the time since that’s what waste the battery more, and it takes pretty long to charge I’ll say like 6 or 7 hours. Wear a helmet for sure and follow the laws of the road! One last thing the tires are really good it gives it a smooth ride. MUST BUY!!! ... show more

Buyer beware!! I bought 2 bikes for my kids and one of the bikes doesn't work anymore. The back tire was nt spin and when it does the cable wraps around and jams it. Reached out to eakute but instead of fixing it and sending the parts to fix the problem or a new bike (it's under warranty) they just email “troubleshooting” that clearly isn't working so now my son has a bike can't ride only had for around 2 months and has nothing to go out with all his friends so he stays home, upset because his peddle bike can't keep up. I chose this bike because I saw their customer service was great…. It's taking forever to even get an email back each time so I will say customer service is not the best. I should have went with the tst brand my sons friend had issues and it was fixed in a week. Do better eskute! Please help me fix this I spent alot of money on these bikes just to break down in such a short time span is dissapointing to say the least. Maybe if I do a Tik Tok review I will get this issue resolved. Hoping for a resolution if it does get fixed I will update! ... show more

It would be nice if they outlined the range for each degree of speed in the settings. Also a explanation of how the controller works would be nice. Some blinkers for turns would also I feel be beneficial if it came stock. Assembly was fairly easy although an image of how the derailleur was assembled would be useful because the first time you take your rear tire off you can be confused as to how it goes back together if you forgot to take a picture which really shouldn't be a requirement. Admittedly the seat is not all that comfortable and if you're doing long rides it may not be good for men's health if you know anything about why they redesigned bike seats a while back. Yeah in fact the seat although it's nice if you have to haul two people and it can do that, it eliminates hauling space. I think you get something like 20 miles out of the top two speeds. So I keep it on three which is 20 miles an hour and I think you get about 30 miles out of that. Everything is fairly sturdy. It's a smooth ride but the hydraulic shocks do bottom out kind of commonly on certain bumps and they don't give you instructions on how to adjust them so I still have yet to look that up and fine tune it. It does look really good and it's a lot of fun to ride. You know it said for kids and young adults and I'm a fairly large man but it doesn't look as ridiculous as like somebody on a Jetsun. Overall I am very satisfied with the bike especially for the money. I would like to see it come with mirrors as well because when you're looking over your shoulder it can be a little wobbly if you veer. This is definitely a two hand at all times machine. The rear fender is a little short and so it can throw water up onto your back. Man the valve stems on the stock inner tubes are so long you need a special bent fill valve to air up the tires. And if you use a straight one you will absolutely split the valves in due time and have to replace the inner tubes. That was very frustrating. I highly recommend just buying the airless tires from a third party. It'd be really nice if there was a clock on the controller as well. The headlight is also functional but a bit weak. I kind of like how it is a beam of that forms a rectangle so you can definitely see the ground in front of you and you're not blinding people as you go down the street but the lack of coverage of your surroundings is a bit tunnel visiony. You will likely end up replacing that light. Also the headlight has a low setting for like kind of daytime running but the daytime running feature doesn't include the rear tail light which I feel like is somewhat self-defeating. I know it's supposed to be compact but if the rear tire assembly was dropped back light 3"it would be better for maintaining top speed because I don't know if you sit too far back like I have really long arms like something about the center of gravity causes a little bit of top speed loss in each setting. Full circle on an explanation of how the controller works I would like to modify the top speed of the first setting because 7 miles an hour is not fast enough to keep it standing because of the weight. It should be set to at least 10 because my girl rides super slow and it's a horrendous pain to stay erect while pacing slow speeds. Also the phone in the seat the grades quickly and mine already has like a divot from sitting on it. As I said overall I love it but there are definite room for improvement that wouldn't raise the bottom line. Sorry Tom I'll be done in just a second ... show more

I got this bike yesterday and I waited till the end of today before writing my review. This is my first e-bike and it was superb! The battery life is excellent and enough for daily commuting. The speed is excellent(at least I saw 27mph). It’s comfortable and easy to assemble. It’s amazing that it comes with a small pump which made it easy for me. It’s worth the money and I believe it will be durable. It has a lot of features too. I will definitely recommend you to get this bike. ... show more

Bike is great. Works as described. For the price it is a good value. Though make sure you see they charge for delivery. Even with that was still worth it. Battery appears to last. Needs more time to charge then my others e bikes but that is not an issues just wanted to point it out
