  • CHEAP JUNK
Style Name: Electric Size: 20V Lithium-ion Battery
SORRY VEVOR BUT THIS AUGER DOES NOT WORK OUT AT ALL. I LIVE IN WISCONSIN AND I LOVE MOST VEVOR PRODUCTS BUT, THIS IS NOT GOING TO WORK FOR THE ICE IN OUR AREA. FIRST OFF IT IS TO SHORT, SECOND OFF IT IS SNGLE BLADES THAT ARE NOT DESIGNED VERY GOOD THROUGH THE MANUFACTURER. CHEAP MADE AND IN THIS CASE AT 200 DOLLARS, YOU DONT GET EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT YOU PAY FOR BECAUSE IT IS NOT WORTH 25 BUCKS, HONESTLY. I THOUGHT I WOULD USE THIS FOR MY BACK UP AUGER BUT NO WAY, ITS GOING BACK. ... show more

  • This is A Beast!
Style Name: Electric Size: 40V Lithium-ion Battery
I was hesitant to go electric after reading reviews of drill run augers that criticized power and ability to get thru thick ice. Therfore I went with the twin battery model. It is heavy duty in all respects. The unit is as heavy as a small gas model, which may help it bite into the ice. The gear housing is metal as are the two augers. The ice auger has thick and sharp cutting blades and goes thru the ice like butter. I only drilled a dozen hole first time out (5" ice) which hardly dented the battery charge. So glad to not be dealing with gas and starting issues now. Only 4 stars due to limited use so far. Ice is now 20" thick which will tell if this is a 5 star product. ... show more

  • Light, sharp blades, easy to use.
Edit 1 year review at bottom. I've only used this on the ice once so far but drilled both my 6 holes and all my buddies holes too with it and it worked quite well. Had about 2 feet of ice to go through and it made it through in about 10 seconds. Got all 12 holes done on one 6 amp hour battery. The blades come very sharp and didnt dull cutting through the ice I had. Just for fun a drilled a few holes by hand and it only took about 30 seconds to drill a hole with a hand crank. Surprisingly the hand crank off my mora cut very well and even used the same thumb screws so it's a very comon ice auger threading. The only thing I didn't like on it was the blade guards. It litteraly fell off in the sled on the way over across the ice to our spot and didnt notice till we got there and I don't know where it went but the wind took it somewhere and I never found it after. So add extra bungles to it if you are going anywhere by snow machine or atv cause it bounces off pretty easy. the nylon veins on it are very sturdy and can be replaced pretty easy if you break or damage one somehow. This was my first auger with nylon fins and I wanted to see how strong they were so I torqued the auger against the sides of the hole sideways and spun it pretty fast and pressed hard enough the stall out the drill. they didnt break and I was quite impressed by it. All in all its pretty nice and if you are looking for a light weight auger for a drill this ones pretty good. It appears to work well on the early 2 foot ice we have so far. I'll have to wait till farther into the season to test it out against harder thicker ice we get but if anything goes wrong I'll update my review. 1 year review The auger has has been fantastic for me and my friends. All my friends are now switching over to auger systems like this. Trying to carry around heavy gas auger are now a thing of the past. I've used it all last season and it hasn't given me onw problem yet. Even drilling all my buddies holes which is sometimes up to 6 people with 6 holes each. Plus having to move around based on fish movement and bottom conditions. So it see's a lot of use and ive only had to sharpen the blades here and there. It cuts really well. We only get like 4 or 5 feet of ice max and the extension that comes with the auger was plenty for the late season ice. My only complaint is that plastic stopper at the top that keeps the auger and drill from going down thw hole it spins freely and it's a little unnerving having that thing spin around freely at a pretty quick pace. Still upset about the cover coming off pretty easy and blowing away in the wind while leaving thw ice and I disnt notice it from the snow mobile. All in all a great auger. ... show more

  • Not worth the money.
Style Name: Electric Size: 20V Lithium-ion Battery
This was absolutely terrible. It was a battle to cut through the ice. Took over thirty minutes to cut three holes. The battery showed half and it would no longer cut.

  • Good Auger
Style Name: Electric Size: 40V Lithium-ion Battery
It works good. You have to remove the batteries when you finish drilling and you don’t want to leave them in the auger when you store it, it drains the battery. I have an insulated bag and throw the batteries and a hand warmer in it when out on the ice. It will drill a lot of holes and it’s lightweight. ... show more

  • Lots of torque but needs refining
Style Name: Electric Size: 40V Lithium-ion Battery
My honest review is this has massive torque. It’s slow turning but really chews through the ice until it starts punching through. I don’t know if it is the aggressive angle of the blades or what but it just won’t cut “through” and it will twist your hands and arms severely. I have 2 Ion brand augers and they turn fairly slow but easily pokes through the ice. I bought 2 40v and will be returning. Spend the money on a strike master or name brand auger is my suggestion. ... show more
