These were quite literally the cheapest ones available at the time. Figured I'd try them out with my 10x10ft popup canopy. The verdict is they're actually pretty good. Velcro is strong and the bags hold the little patio bricks I put in them. Not sure how long they'll last but they've lasted the summer so far and I do move the canopy around quite a bit. I like the bright yellow color so you don't trip on them. Only 4 stars because the meterial and stitching seems a bit thin. Just received the Bright Yellow Canopy Sand Bags and am pleased with them: 1. The bright yellow color is a safety feature which helps prevent tripping into the canopy support legs; 2. The bags are large enough for different size large soda or juice bottles to drop in- filled with water or sand to keep things neat and clean; 3. When using 2 liter soda bottles filled with water, each bottle will weigh 4.4 pounds, so two bottles side by side will provide 8.8 pounds of stability; 4. By “spiral wrapping” the Velcro straps to the poles one can secure even the smaller diameter (less than 20mm or 3/4”) poles so they stay securely in place when in a gusty breeze; 5. Bags are good quality and love the idea. Bieber the straps that hold to the pole are too loose. Any gust of wind and the pole just slips right through the straps and the bags serve no purpose at that point. The straps don’t go as small as a pole for my car awning. Maybe if the awning had feet to not go through the straps. Or maybe there’s more tie down points needed. But as advertised this is a major design flaw. ... show more

The bags are very durable. I've used them for several outdoor vendor shows and they hold up to the weather. The only reason I didn't give this product five stars is that I would not suggest pouring sand directly into these bags unless you want sand all over your car. I already knew from other vendors to fill 2-liter soda bottles with sand then place them inside the bags. If you do this they work great, if not then have fun getting sand everywhere. ... show more

I bought a 10x10 canopy to use these for but I also bought a beach tent and filled them up with the beach sand while I was there and poured it out when I left.no extra weight to haul and no mess to deal with. There are 2 pockets on each one and filled 2 of them 1/2 way and put one on each side and it was perfect ... show more
