  • Vibrant, Durable, and a Dream to Print With!
Color: Matte Gradient Shire
This filament blew me away! The vibrancy of the colors is absolutely stunning, and the gradient transition from yellow to green is quick and smooth, making every print pop with personality. I used it for several models (including this dragon), and the results are nothing short of show-stopping. One of the biggest highlights for me is how clean the prints come out—no stringing at all, even with fine details. It also adheres beautifully to the bed and has great layer adhesion, so prints are sturdy and durable straight off the plate. This filament has easily become one of my favorites. I’ll definitely be buying more spools in the future. If you’re looking for an eye-catching, reliable gradient PLA—this is it! ... show more

  • Buyer beware if your intended use is multi color in an ams
Color: Silk Waterfall Rainbow
I got the waterfall silk fast change filament to make what’s in the photos. First off we like the colors, vibrant and shifted quicker than our other rainbow filaments. What I really hated was the filament is so soft that it will strip out on the Bambu x1c ams or extruder if it goes through more then once. So if your just printing and not changing filaments your probably fine, if your swapping colors prepare to babysit your printer. The rolled filament in the picture is how much I had to cut out, distance from extruder to ams motor, every time it would strip out before I could “help” push it along past the damaged section, 374 layer changes…. More then half of those got caught, 23 hour print took three days overall. We got the box damaged, Amazons fault, and that caused the filament spool to be damaged so before I even used it I had to respool it on to a reusable spool, then we found out what a nightmare this was going to be after the third “couldn’t feed filament to the extruder”. We really thought about returning it but didn’t think it would get accepted so we buckled up and got on with it. And as you can see it did come out really nicely using just over 130g for the model 90g for purge and 53.6g of that mess of rolled filament in the picture. As much as we like the fast change and the color this did not suit what we use this kind of filament for. Please be aware of this for your use case. ... show more

  • Only around 800g on my 1kg spool, but printed beautifully - Matte Macron Rainbow Colour Cycle 175g
Color: Matte Macaron Rainbow
The colours are pretty and extrusion was perfect - I have zero complains there. The issue I have is that this spool was not even close to the 1kg of filament advertised in the description. I am absolutely diligent about keeping track of how much filament is left on my roll so that I don't run out mid-print, and to that point I have never run out mid-print before. (If a print says it's 82g I even round up my manual tracking to 90g) I also have BambuStudio which keeps track through my print history. Both my notes and BambuStudio say I ran out around 800g used, not 1,000. The price was my main factor in deciding to try this filament. The price, considering the spool was actually only 80% of the advertised weight, went from a seemingly great deal to being nearly exactly the same price as I laid paid for Polymaker's matte rainbow filament, which is my normal go-to for rainbow filament. I started a 180g print that was nearly 16 hours long in total. The spool was supposed to have about 320g left at that point, so plenty to spare. After only 120g, I got notification on my phone app that my filament ran out. I thought it must be a clogged nozzle or something, that there's no way my filament ran out. Sure enough, my filament was completely out on the spool. I didn't have a backup spool of this filament because it my was my first time trying this brand and I shouldn't have been out or even close to it. I was near the point of the orange switching to pink on the gradient, so I used my Polymaker Sakura Pink to finish out the print. Unfortunately, both items on that print have a noticeable colour switch line, as well as a thick texture line too. The prints don't look horrible, but I'm a bit of an OCD perfectionist so in my eyes I've now been shorted 200g worth of filament for what I paid, and the 120g that was already extruded is also not ideal. Typically, I use Bambu Labs PLA or Polymaker PLA and I've never had a spool that was short yet (and thanks to both my note taking and BambuStudio I'd not once run out of filament during a print.) That being said, IF the filament had been the full 1kg worth of filament I would have given it a full 5 stars. The filament was NOT brittle or wet at all when it arrived. I had zero extrusion issues. It printed like a dream at 220° and the bed at 65° on the Bambu Labs Textured PEI plate with my Bambu Labs P1P. The colours are pretty and the gradient runs nicely through the print. Despite the manufacturer's attached image stating this filament gets all 5 colours at 260g a full colour cycle is actually only around 175g, which kind of foiled my plans for a phone stand, but it still turned out nice. (See image of phone stand for approximate colour distribution.) For comparison purposes only, this Matte Macron Rainbow colour is more pastel than the Polymaker rainbow, but both are very pretty. ... show more

  • The filament itself is great. Adhesion, colors, it's all great.
Color: Matte Watercolor Rainbow
Great filament that adheres well and doesn't clog often. My only problem is the cardboard spools in an AMS. Yes there are adapters and such, but they don't always work so well and there is the problem with the spools hopping around and getting wedged when you get near the end. I know that weights can be used, but all of this adaption isn't necessary if the spool is plastic. Minus 1 star until they use heavier spools or something that makes them equal to plastic. ... show more
