The rack itself is good for a while, then the plastic corners start to break apart. So if you are looking more into the long term item I will look for something with corners that dont have plastic. Overall, if you dont have that many shoes and wont be moving the rack with them, then this is the rack for you. However if you use all your shoes often and move them , it would be more of a short term in my case. ... show more

The rack mat is only 14 inches wide. Barely big enough to fit 3 shoes (men or women sizes). For a child's shoes you may be able to fit 2 pairs on 1 shelf. Glad I measured before assembling.
