    • Great pedal! None of the problems mentioned by others.
Style: Pedal
I've had none of the troubles others have mentioned. The volume cuts out completely when my heel is right down on the pedal, as it should. After I unscrewed the feet and the battery compartment on the bottom, it was easy to attach it to my pedal board with velcro. The action on this pedal is smooth and responsive. There is no tone loss when using a tuner in the tuner channel. The aluminium construction is very solid. 5/5, would definitely buy this again. ... show more

    • The best of the best in volume pedals.
Style: Pedal
They took the most popular mod to the VPJr(the buffer and no tone suck feature) and incorporated it into this unit. Minimum volume is a great addition, and the boost feature is a nice touch. The only thing you don't get is the light up of the pedal I used to do when modding VPjrs for people. EB included free 6V +/- connections on the PCB to make this easy if you're inclined to ruin your warranty. I was. ... show more

    • One volume pedal to rule them all.
Style: Pedal
Best volume pedal I've ever used. Even better than the stuff from Morley or Mission Engineering. My biggest concern was whether it would keep the tone when used with my 18v active jazz bass and it passes that test with flying colors. I didn't think that I'd use the gain or min volume knobs much but I actually find myself tweaking them more often than not. The action is also awesomely smooth for doing those post-rock volume swells. It doesn't hurt that the pedal is built like a tank and looks gorgeous to boot. ... show more

    • Ernie Ball MVP, (Most Valuable Pedal) Best One I Have Now!
Style: Pedal
Just Like The Brand Ernie Ball MVP Says. This Is The Pedal To Have. I Have 4 Of the Standard Ernie Ball Volume Pedals But I Was In Need For Another One. So I Came Across This MVP Pedal , I Must Say I Was Glad I Purchased This One This Time . You Can Set This To Have A minimum Volume and At The Same Time You Can Adjust The Gain to Give It Some Grit. Very Satisfied. This One Is A Must Have, Works Like a Champ. ... show more

    • It would work better as a boat anchor.
Style: Pedal
Mine was bad right out of the box. Scratchy and guitar cutting out throughout the entire sweep. In the full toe position it would crackle and pop and sometimes cut out completely. I really needed this pedal. It was the last piece in my pedalboard. I tested it with multiple known good cables and still no change.I ended up returning it for a refund and buying a Boss with far less features but at the same time that means far less can go wrong. I will keep my volume passive. For the money this thing costs it is entirely unacceptable to send a piece of junk like this out to a paying customer. Oh,one more thing, the power input jack is also flimsy and hell so dont expect it to last long either. ... show more

    • Other than that it is a good volume pedal
Style: Pedal
It makes a loud clicking sound and whatever is making the sound, I can feel it with my foot. Other than that it is a good volume pedal.

    • HIGHLY recommended.
Style: Pedal
Prior to buying this I had never used an expression pedal. I'm sorry I waited 50 years to try one. This pedal provides completely transparent boost, and allows me to adjust volume instantly on the fly without trying to grab a volume knob on my guitar. The flexibility in phrasing, volume adjustment and movement between chords, single line melodic passages, arpeggios etc. is terrific. It took me a little while to fully grasp and appreciate the inherent possibilities of this pedal, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It may be one of the most useful musical tools I have. ... show more
