  • Perfect for the money
Secures my Yamaha blaster perfect. Easy to install on my utility trailer and holds the quad in place solid as hell. Excellent for the price tag. Straps are heavy duty as well.

  • Dang good tie down system.
Love the simplicity of this kit. Works as it should. Towing up and down mountain roads…. no movement with the utv and no slack on the straps. Must have.

  • Excellent and easy
Yes you will need to buy $30 of nuts and bolts to install these, but once you’ve got that done, it is easy and convenient to load up whatever it is you have and secure it at a non-sprung point. I bought four and use them to secure a zero turn mower.

  • Works great even on bumpy gravel/dirt roads
Bought a new 7x14 ATV trailer and was concerned about a sturdy way to secure the front wheeler that is loaded from the sides. Purchased four sets of these so for each wheel for both my four wheelers. I travel 150 miles each way with them and the last 20 minutes are very bumpy gravel and dirt roads. Both there and back the wheelers didn't move an inch and the straps never loosened. Would highly recommend these for towing four wheelers and side by sides. Hardware I used was 1/4"x 2 1/2" hex bolts, washer for top and bottom, fender washer for bottom, and nylon locking nut. Get ready to pay almost as much for the hardware than what you pay for this. ... show more

  • Fantastic product...but still need to buy mounting hardware.
This product has simplified the process of securing my UTV to a trailer by leaps and bounds. And the process now only takes five minutes where it used to take me 45 minutes. This was necessary because my UTV has a complete independent 4 wheel suspension, so there's no axle to use as a tie down. And there was so much bounce in the suspension, that cables attached to the UTV frame would just fall off when the suspension compressed on the road. This product completely eliminates that. The only fault I have found is that I spent an equal amount of money on the recommended mounting hardware. If you need 1/4" stainless steel bolts, washers, split rings, and locking nuts, be prepared to drop about another $40 for it at your local hardware store. ... show more

  • Plan your hardware accordingly. kit is otherwise perfect.
Great kit for the price, however... They do NOT include mounting hardware. I wanted to use stainless hardware to mount these to my trailer. Do not buy the stainless hardware from lowes unless you want to spend $40 per set. That's right, stainless hardware ran me more than the price of these fine tie down kits. Buy that hardware online at Amazon of course (I used 1/4 inch stainless bolts, washers, and nylock nuts) or rural King/tractor supply. The kit itself was great! I bought 2 sets to tie down each wheel of my rzr900. Put the rzr/atv on the trailer, the mark your holes. Don't forget to look under that trailer so you don't drill into places you can't put a nut. I was traveling 35mph when 2 small unattended children walked off the sidewalk right in front of my SUV without even looking. Full panic stop while the kids froze in front of me. Came within a car length of a very sad day. Pulled over to collect myself and check the rzr/trailer/suv for damage fully expecting these cleats to have come ripping loose. 1200 lb plus fluids n fuel on that rzr and it didn't move an inch. Ratchet straps were in perfect shape. Can't recommend these enough. I tested them more than I ever wished to... update: Trailer stored outside, no rust at all on the yellow cleats. I did have one strap pop out of the etrack slot while driving. I now give each end a tug each direction before tightening to the RZR tires to make sure they are secure. Finding an exact replacement for the damaged strap was a problem. I purchased an Erickson 59136 strap and cut it down adding a foot extra in case of adding larger tires in the future. Update2 aug 2019: larger trailer, installed a new set of 4. Couple install tips now that I've done this a few times.. On a wood deck, try to install the wheel chocks on 2 separate boards. Have the chocks straddle 2 pieces of wood. This tip not only gives a more solid mount as your closer to the center of the board, but ALSO no single point of failure if you have a random knot or weak board. I have gone a bit further because of the incident above and use 1/8" aluminum plate under my trailer as a backing. This makes a sandwich of the boards delaying any weakness from rot over time. Tip 2; each wheel chock is just a little different. If you lay out your chocks on the trailer and mark them with each chock going in that exact spot. DO not use one chock to mark all of your holes. They will not match the holes of different chocks. I have made this mistake only to realize after I drilled all the holes the other chalks won't line up :(.. Update3: I have tried a few alternatives for UTV tie-downs on a new trailer with rails. Using 5' etrac sections and over-the-tire web style tie down, thinking this would save time. it's not cost-effective and it's simply not faster. I believe this Erickson kit is still the way to go. I have tried no-name replacement ratchet e-trac straps of similar color and spec for this kit. They corroded pretty quickly for some reason. I believe Erickson straps are a touch longer than before with this kit. Early kits would maybe do a 29" tire, now my new UTV has 29" tires with plenty of strap left to go larger. ... show more

  • Very good
I used this to hold my lifted golf cart down and they work great. It's the best way to secure it because your not loading the suspension up. I drove 600 miles with it strapped down with these on my trailer and had no issues. They never even had to be retightened, although it's always good practice to recheck them at every stop. ... show more
