I bought this chair for my son who is still working remotely from home because we are going to turn the spare room, once again, into office space. It arrived a few days ago. Fortunately, UPS was kind enough to bring it in for me because the box is large and the package was heavy. I just had shoulder surgery two weeks ago and I'm not supposed to be lifting, but things that need to be done tend to beckon to me. I watched the assembly video and it looked pretty simple, so I decided to tackle it anyway. The chair is extremely well packaged. Everything was wrapped in either bubble wrap bags or foam packing sheets, and the smaller parts were in separate cardboard boxes, also wrapped. The bolts and hex wrench were all enclosed on a display card, and the pieces were perfectly numbered, nothing was missing, and the cardboard sheet was attached to the inside of the shipping box so that it didn't get lost. I'm not explaining this very well, and I wish I would have taken a picture before I tore into it; but the way they packaged the bolts and numbered them matched so perfectly with the instructions (which are very clear, straightforward, and illustrated) that I didn't even need the video. I had the chair together in about 30 minutes. It probably would have been faster had I not been trying to protect my shoulder. The chair itself is extremely well made. I was surprised at how sturdy it is. It isn't lightweight, like most home office chairs, and it's very attractive. The chair is comfortable and the lumbar support is such a welcome addition! I would imagine that this chair is going to be around for a while. I'm hoping that my oldest son and his girlfriend will have worn their office chairs out by the end of the year because I would love to get each one of them one of these for Christmas. I don't write reviews as a rule unless I'm extremely disappointed with something or impressed, and everything about this chair has impressed me. You won't be disappointed.     • Great quality chair, found the lumbar support panel uncomfortable and wish it was adjustable.

I actually removed it altogether, but that was just not tenable, too large of a gap between the torso back support and the seat. Basically I just need to have the bottom of the lumbar support pushed more forward and currently trying to brainstorm a long term way to jury rig with a stable attachment. Right now just I just have the three phillips head screws that attach the plastic support bar for the lumbar support detach and have an old pillow stuffed back there to push the bottom out. Hopefully I can find a better solution though as, overall, I do quite like the chair, having finally broken one of the arms off my old full mesh desk chair of over 15 years. ... show more

I use this in the upright position, it’s comfortable very breathable, will leave marks on the leg if you wear shorts due to the fact it’s mesh chair., what don’t it like. One the lumbar does seem to extend to far out, I have to press my lower back into it., the adjustment lever only has 3 positions, you don’t, get to put it where it would be comfortable for you making the ability to sit longer in the chair. That chair is made very well and looks really nice. Very comfortable to sit in. My only complaint about the chair is the arm rests. They constantly move around. They do not have a lock to keep them in place like many other chairs do. Other than that, I really like it.

I’m 6’4” and 245. Got this to replace a very similar looking chair from Office Depot but after about and hour of sitting in it I’m going back to my Office Depot chair. This chair is easy to build, well made, good materials, etc. Even has decent lumbar support. May be good if you’re 6 foot or less or only using it for short sessions but definitely not a 9-5 chair. It’s narrow and the arm rests are too far forward that your elbows can’t even really rest on them. The tension is very loose too the chair almost feels unstable when leaning back as there is no push back even with tension at the highest setting. Unfortunately I bought this on a whim for Prime Day and good luck getting it back in the box.. I guess I’ll try and sell it to recoup my loss. Suggest you just go to a big box store and try chairs instead of taking a gamble buying one online. ... show more
