I really hesitated before purchasing a chair online. I say that because how a chair feels is very much a personal preference, and there's just no way of knowing how a chair is going to feel without actually sitting in it. Before placing this order, I went to several big box office supply stores to check out the chairs they had. Some were too large for the space I have available, others were too small to be comfortable, and others were simply hundreds of dollars more than I wanted to spend. So, based primarily on the price, I decided to take a chance with this chair. Assembling the chair required a bit of patience but the directions were easy to follow. All of the parts fit together properly and there were no missing parts. The manufacturer included a tool needed for the assembly and, unlike the allen wrenches typically included, the tool was comfortable to use and made it easy to tighten down all of the screws. This chair is quite comfortable. The mesh back is nice and the seat cushion provides plenty of support without being hard. The chair leans back nicely and has plenty of adjustment. Overall, this is a great chair at a very competitive price point.

Comfortable! Once I got the chair together (not as easy as others have stated) I sat down and sighed in comfort. I should have gotten rid of my old chair ages ago but couldn't swing it. Assembly took me a bit. The holes on the seat bottom were difficult to get started. I highly recommend a bright flashlight because it's hard to distinguish where the screws go without first aligning the arm bottoms correctly. I live in a small apartment and this chair is perfect for the space. With the moving arms, I can push the chair under my banker's desk nicely. The wheels glide smoothly over my carpet. It does take strength to get the wheels in place. I'm very short and I love the chairs adjustable function. It works well and did take a couple of tries to reach the perfect height, as expected with a new product. The chair feels very substantial. I'm fat (let's call it as it is) and there is no give or feelings of impending collapse. Very sturdy. I have a couple of suggestions....to the manufacturer I would suggest the instructions be printed in a larger size. For older people who have eye problems, it's difficult to see the illustrations clearly without a magnifying glass. For the purchasing individual I would suggest having someone else who could steady and hold the seat in place while attaching the arm. Highly recommended, get value for money.

I bought this to use as a sewing chair while my household is in storage, waiting to find/close/move into my house. This was about $50…a much more affordable option than the very chairs that are available/advertised as true sewing chairs and cost hundreds of dollars—which I also own. That other chair is becoming wobbly but no way to tighten things up, whereas this chair can be tightened if the original assembly was a bit loosely done. This chair is so very comfortable!! More comfortable than the other, super-pricey one that I own. It swivels, rocks just a bit (in a good way), easily rolls on carpet, seat can be adjusted to raise the height up or down and it has arms that flip up—I didn’t want them, but since they flip up, they’re actually going to be quite nice when I want to use them. The mesh-covered seat cushion doesn’t flatten when sitting on it and should be cooler than the other, cloth-covered varieties. Although I’m 5’8” and weigh 207, I wanted something that would be super strong/sturdy. Assembly was straightforward, easy instructions to follow and took exactly 30 minutes with everything coming together as intended. The lumbar support is very good and glad for the mesh back, which will keep me cooler, since I am always sewing quilt tops and then quilting them on my mid arm quilting machine. The tool included was appreciated…so much better than the typical, dinky little Allen wrench normally included in items requiring assembly. My only wish was to get this in white, so chose black, since it was the least expensive of the colors available. I couldn’t be more pleased with this chair!!

Perfect chair for sitting for long periods of time. The back and the height is adjustable and the seat is comfortable. This chair is ideal for people who work at home. You do have to assemble it yourself, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Its a great chair at a great price.

Super for the price. Very well packed, and it went together easily. They even give you extra bolts in case one rolls under the couch. I like the folding arms, and it seems very sturdy. I wish it had reclining settings, but it does tilt back comfortably against the spring pressure. I put a small cushion in the seat - because the seat foam isn't very thick. Still, I gave it 5 stars because of the quality for the price.
