I had been wanting to add a backup camera to my truck for some time now since I am carrying things that block my view from my rear-view mirror and I have to rely on my side mirrors. That is not a huge deal since I have spent some time driving large trucks in the past but for safety's sake and my own peace of mind,, I wanted a backup camera. This one I felt was a great price and I also felt that it would be much easier to setup than a wireless model from my experience in other items. The fact is it was a breeze, partly because the camera setup is pretty straight forward and my truck made it easy (especially not having to run wire), the only thing you might want to be aware of is that if you are going to be traveling in dark/cloudy areas it does have a backup USB system you can use, if you have running lights you can power it to charge at all times. Mounting it was easy, powering the display from the cigarette lighter or solar was child's play. I hope to get under the dash at some point and wire it out of sight but it works so well as it is that might never happen. Bottom Line: 5 Stars for an item that vastly exceeded my expectations in performance and ease of installation. Highly recommended

Anyone who wants to improve the safety of their car but doesn’t want to deal with the headaches of complicated installations will find this convenience level a true game changer -The display gave a more than adequate view, and the wireless transmission had a range of 328 feet, ensuring I had a clear view even when parked in more wide spaces The fact that this system is powered by solar power is certainly one of its standout features. Since the battery of the solar camera can be recharged up to 9600 mAh, users will not have to worry about replacing the battery as this generally does not seem to cause the camera to fail not only the environment, but also guarantees that it is always ready to help the user. This is an impressive unit. Works great! The 3 weaknesses are: -Needs to be fully charged via usb-c before 1st use -Must be turned on AND off for each use -No indicator on screen of battery level I have this mounted 11’ high on the back of our RV. Charging manually is challenging. Turning it on and off is tough. If you don’t turn it off, expect it to be dead for next use. Solar seems to just help with long days. I don’t think it can keep up for multi day use. Once I figured those things out, it’s been fabulous!!!

The media could not be loaded. It really is plug and play. The only part that consistently needs electricity is the screen. It immediately plugs into the dc outlet. It has an additional USB port and a power indication light. It has a bracket and suction cup mount. The camera has a wireless transmitter and rechargeable battery built in. There is virtually no wiring needed. The vehicle is protected from damage by the extremely durable and gently padded magnetic back surface. The camera is attached to the solar panel. The solar panel will tilt along with the camera as it may be raised and lowered. Should the solar panel not have had enough time to fully charge, I will be able to charge the internal battery with an additional power source using the usb connector on the back of the camera. The screen's image is stunning and crystal clear. Even colors are seen with night vision. The advantages of having a backup camera are obvious. However, this has been possible to do so without difficulty if you don't want to be constrained by cables or want the option to transfer the system from one car or trailer to another. I adore that this one setup can work for numerous trailers because I can simply pop the camera onto whatever I'm pulling.
