    • It Seems Like A Good Value And A Quality Printer
So far, this printer is everything that I was looking for except two-sided scanning. But I can live with that, since I have little need for scanning many documents. It does however, print very nicely on both sides of the sheet. Set up was a bit touchy, but I think that's because I've mostly dealt with HP printers in the past and have become comfortable with their quirky issues. Pros: Prints well. Less costs for ink. Cons: -1 star for no CD printing tray. -1 star for cheap noisy build. -1 star because the previous one didn't last very long as the gears for the doubled sided feature are stripped. Basically, the ink supply outlasted the printer. 2025 May Update: More Cons: -1 star as the wifi card has apparently died and its never been used as its connected to computer via USB. Printer beeps often telling me their is a wifi system error-who cares? Factory reset didn't cure this issue. -1 star as the printer has to be disassembled quite a bit to get to the wifi card. -1 star as I can't find a replacement part. -1 star as all the ink must be removed for this repair as tilting the printer with ink in the tanks will cause printing issues that are not resolvable from past experiences. Just want a reliable printer where the ink & printer don't cost a fortune. ... show more

    • I'm sold on the ink system. It makes sense!
I escaped the cartridge game of the competitor. They were doing their best to limit my choices and Epson knows that just isn't right. The economy of the printing is excellent. I have seen nothing wrong with the print quality. All around, I won!

    • Troublesome quirks
When this printer works, it prints beautifully, and I only encounter user error--not the fault of the printer. That being said, this printer invites a LOT of user error. Never mind the minor annoyances e.g., his insistence on knowing what paper type I've now inserted (it's always the same, little guy; I'm not a fancy person). I probably have to re-set-up the network connection (wifi based) every time I haven't used the printer in a month. And because I have month-long intervals between major print jobs, I have to assume that his nozzles will need to be cleaned, or even deep cleaned--which requires a 12 hour wait before I can use it again. This printer disrupts workflow considerably for these reasons. I WISH my issue were a paper jam. It's not. It's always hours of investigation into nozzles and driver updates (the printer is set to automatically update, but that doesn't help if he keeps getting disconnected, does it?). ... show more

    • ink fills easy, wireless easy, setup easy
this printer connects to my IOS computers and phones and connects to Windows computers. No issues. Ink fills are easy. Had a color laser before and that was expensive and messy to change out. No issues with ink jet here. Seems to last. print quality is good, fax works well. I would buy again.

La compre pero tenia mis dudas, pero es una excelente inversión, es fácil de instalar y fácil de usar, me gusta que es wireless y eso facilita el trabajo, Me funciona tanto con Windows como con MAC, con los celulares también trabaja bien

extremely difficult to operate as there is no easy relationship between pc and printer functions of apps and very poor printing of photos and much more. sorry that I waited too long to return!!!
