I really like this press a lot. I asked around a bit and a friend of mine has this one and told me she's been very happy with it. The only thing I think is worth pointing out is that the swing-away style does require more workspace. The clam style might be a better option if you're really cramped for space. But if you've got it on a cart vs your work bench it's no problem at all. It's a very sturdy press and has worked great for all the HTV projects I've used it on so far. Works pretty good. Some of the hardware likes to come loose, so occasionally needs to be retightened. Hasn't broken yet.

Coming from just an iron, this was an insane upgrade. Not sure if it was shipping damage so I wont take off stars for it, but the top did not exactly clamp straight when it arrived. Took a little time to fiddle with and adjust.

I ordered the one pictured (the teal color) and received black. Anyway so far so good! I’ve had it a few weeks and have used it about 10-15 times and I’ve had perfect results each time. I upgraded from a clamshell and though that surface was bigger the smaller swing away works much much better. Will update down the road if anything changes. ... show more
