Purchased this from Amazon for our basement living area after buying a similar one from a national furniture store for $800 more. Packed well, easy to follow directions (Note:put rocks in LAST). Took about 2 hours for 1 person with a little help. Nice magnetic screwdriver supplied, no other tools necessary, but a rubber mallet and clear drying wood glue will help it come together better/firmer . Really nice looking despite it being particle board. Looks just as nice as the one that is all wood from furniture store. So I ordered this fireplace, which I think is absolutely beautiful. Easy to assemble looks great but let me backtrack. There was two pieces that were broken. I reached out to the company and they replaced the whole frame these people. I can’t say how wonderful they were to work with thank you For working with me it was so easy and I love my fireplace. This unit is absolutely beautiful! It’s sturdy and heavy. Top can scratch easily, so you have to be really careful when putting together. Fireplace is gorgeous and heating unit works well for smaller spaces. I love it!! It was a great purchase!
