  • Caught on fire after 6 months
While it was in good shape I loved it, but it caught on fire the other day. Make sure you have a warranty. I do have a warranty, but it’s taking me quite a time to get it replaced.

  • Great product.
So after about 40 shirts or so. The circuit breaker button kept popping. It wouldn't warm up for 5 minutes without popping. The unit works well when it stays on lol. After a quick trip to the local electronics store,I was able to replace the circuit breaker my self. I noticed the one that came out of the press was small and cheap. I replaced it with a better one I guess. The one that I put in was more robust and looked higher quality. So far no problems. The part cost $3.95 . I still would buy this product. I bought an extra circuit breaker switch just in case. Just unplug, unscrew back panel, remove the red button switch, and put new one in. The wires connect any direction, don't worry about positive and negative connection. Easier to replace than you think. It was literally 5 min if that. The photo is the circuit breaker you need to replace it with if it starts acting up. That's the old one in package btw. The new one is much bigger and looks higher quality.20 more shirts later, still running strong. ... show more

  • Buyer Beware
When the product arrived, the pressure knob came in pieces (refer to picture). While the seller did send me a new knob (about a week later), it was a pain to put on since I had to strip components of the old knob off. Then, there were issues with it automatically shutting off once it got to 300 degrees. That issue has been resolved. ... show more

  • What I think
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to make the most professional looking designs that I could. If your gonna do it do it big. Because everyone thinks their a T-shirt designer now with cricket being so affordable. But their designs are two dimensional. I mean you could get the same effect with an iron. But not at this level or quality. All I’m saying is. MAKE THIS ONE OF YOUR MUST HAVE LIST. if your gonna start making shirts. ... show more

  • Great heat press at a great price
I did a lot of research on heat press units. I ended up hearing good and bad on all of them. I asked about this one and the wattage etc. And after about a month of deciding between this one and another I found on Ebay I got this one. Make sure you buy one with high wattage. Your electric bill will be higher but its worth it. I have pressed about 30 shirts so far and the temp stays within 5 degrees and heats good. Timer and display works fine. As with any heat press you will have to work with it and find the right pressure, time , and temp. This is my first heat press and I think I have found the right settings as my shirts are turning out great. ... show more

  • Great starter unit!
Press has served me well so far! Ive made over 100 shirts on it, with no issues. Highly suggest using an IR thermometer with this, as the built in one reads far higher than the actual temperature. Even heat over the upper platen, so no issue there. I'm a bit concerned with the weld quality on the handle, and have a feeling I may be having to fix it sooner than later. For the price you can't go wrong, just have to be gentler with it than you would a name brand costing much more! ... show more
