It does exactly what it’s designed to do. It assists me with pull-ups, dips. Before couldn’t do 1. Now, 10 to 25 repetitions can be done comfortably. It’s actually easy and fun to use. The machine is very smooth and has very nice ergonomics. It’s very sturdy. It’s currently in the basement with a slightly lower ceiling. I have to put my head between the joists while doing pull-ups. I’ll be moving it to a dedicated fitness room upstairs with normal ceiling height. Then height should be fine. I’m also able to do pull-up bar hangs to stretch the back. Very relaxing! For reference, I’m a 185lb 71 year old that actively mountain bikes. Fitness is Ok. Back issues and this is very good therapy. Assembly was easy even with the little assembly wrench provided. All the fasteners had Nylock nuts that won’t loosen with use. Quality is very good for the price. I have a few little issues that are very minor. It would be nice if there were labels for the difficulty positions. I’ll add tape with numbered difficulty labels. My combination pull-up and dip station has a crossbar support at floor level. This interferes with positioning the machine correctly. I had to create a 2” raised platform to allow ideal positioning over the crossbar. Hoping to add a photo of the platform in a few days. Prior to this machine, I tried all kinds of straps, bands and harnesses to use my pull-up&dip station. This machine solved all those issues and more. Really enjoying it!

This pull-up assist machine has been a great addition to my home gym. The hydraulic assistance is easy to adjust, which makes it convenient to gradually reduce the support as I get stronger. Compared with resistance bands, the movement feels more controlled and consistent, and it is easier to track progress. The frame feels solid and stable during use, and the foot platforms are comfortable and easy to step on. Assembly was straightforward, although it took a little time to tighten and align everything properly. Overall, it is a very useful machine for beginners or anyone trying to improve their pull-ups with controlled, progressive assistance.

It works. Can be a pain to change between assist settings but safer that bands. Would be nice if height was increased.

Easy installation, instructions are fairly easy to follow but there really isn't much to put together anyway. I've tried the bands, two different kinds, returned both of them because the stated resistance of the bands should have helped me. I weigh 270ilbs and they should have helped but they didn't. This device actually helped me lift myself over the pull up bar. So I'd have to say I'm not returning this item, so far so good.

Pretty good very stable and sturdy I have like 1 month I bought it and it works pretty good, just wanna know if the hydraulic support has replacement, but it’s a good support

Don’t waste your money. Once assembled, the product looked twisted and didn’t seem quite right. I tried using it anyway, but the range of motion is extremely limited only about the middle portion of a normal pullup so your not getting the full benefit of an actual pullup even if the weight adjustment actually worked The adjustable assistance settings didn’t seem to do anything The resistance felt exactly the same on the lowest setting, the highest setting, and every setting in between. I’m just getting back into a fitness routine, so I do need some assistance with pull-ups right now. However, regardless of the setting, this machine made them completely effortless. I could have done assisted pull-ups on it all day without any challenge. Maybe I received a defective unit, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This pullup assist machine does not have the necessary range to allow for complete pullups. You can only do partial pullups with this machine if you are a normal size man. Notice there are no videos showing complete range pullups
