I love this head unit in my 07 GMC Yukon with factory bose sound system. It was a perfect fit, looks great, and easy to install (literally plug and play aside from the optional antennas and mic, but those are easy if you know what you are doing). It runs great and quickly with little to no lag from app to app. The screen is bright and crisp and dimms nicely automatically when your headlights cut on (also adjustable). The android auto connects perfectly through the integrated app. The sound upgrade was very noticeable with the built in eq settings and amp power adjustment, once you find your preferred balance it sounds amazing. Having the steering wheel buttons perfectly functioning and mappable is a huge plus. I have always used Eonon for my sound systems and have never been disappointed they make outstanding products! Great upgrade and replacement for the factory DVD/Stereo headunit... However, there are couple of issues to be aware of. 1) You have to live with an annoying DTC/CEL light on the dashboard if you install this U018400 "Lost Lost Communication with Radio". It's easily cleared it with an OBDII scanner tool but it comes back every couple of days. Reached out to [email protected] about the error and received the following response. "Since the original factory head unit has been removed, this fault prompt will pop up. Please just ignore it, it will **not affect the normal operation of your car**." --- would've been nice to know that before purchasing/installing. 2) Factory Rear drop-down screens no longer work. I also purchased the USB to RCA (CVBS) adapter (part A506) in hopes of keeping the factory rear screens functional. However, all attempts to hook that adapter up have failed. It seems to power the screens (they light up) but no video output is seen. - Could be something wrong with my screens? But they worked with the factory head unit when playing DVDs fine before installing this new headunit. [email protected] provided the pictures/diagrams attached and instruction to "Please plug into number 9" That does send power (light up) the rear screens but I've not been able to get anything to display on them ... show more

A lot of weird problems with this not holding information radio stations like disappearing after setting them my backup camera is upside down it’s the original one that should not look like that and there’s no setting to change it I don’t want the company on another defective one and it was a nightmare if I send it back I have to wait weeks for a refund to get a replacement apparently it’s another defective radio is nice in some ways if they work properly it’ll be fine but I’m a mechanic for 30 years I worked on all kinds of automobiles electronically Problems and this one here is just like I’m unreal like I said I can’t even exchange it without waiting three weeks to get my money back people only got so many hundred dollars to put out and that’s Amozon’s fault too because they don’t wanna do any kind of normal exchanges like they used to change and they hold onto your product your money for weeks which gives Amozon a ton of cash flow to grow their business while everybody else is out between a bad radio and bad service from Amazon I would not purchase this again that’s for sure never look for a brand name I guess that’s my recommendation but somewhere besides Amozon unless you wanna wait for a return if you get a defect I can go to Walmart and buy the cheap Radio there and screwed up I just take it back and exchange it the same day without all this nightmare bad enough having to take it out but they don’t care I’ve called Amozon on this over and over and over and they are no help whatsoever sick of whole situation Honestly buying anything expensive for me Amazon unless it’s only the items that they sell which is limited you gotta wait weeks for a return anymore it’s ridiculous totally it’s uncalled for if they’re that shorthanded they can’t check in the returns why should the customer suffer I’d say be aware between this Radio and Amozon both because the company was no help either ... show more

Fast and lots of storage but it comes with Chinese android auto that sucks and likes to repeatedly open and turn off the wifi. If you want to download a better one download the one in the picture (with wifi launcher on your phone) also you can ask Google AI to figure out the factory code to get in the settings. also change the ui ... show more
