Why did you pick this product vs others?: The Poolin EOC 2720 is the newest addition to my sewing room. I have the Poolin EOC05 Embroidery machine and the Poolin EOC565 Sewing machine. The EOC2720 will be replacing a Singer machine and a Bernina Machine that I inherited from my grandma; who was an avid quilter. Both Machines are from the late 70's and early 80's and have been used to create 100's and 100's of quilts. The quality of the Poolin brand and price made the decision to upgrade easy. The stitch library is unbelievable and the larger deck area will make piecing quilts and quilting a breeze! This machine will allow me to complete bigger projects than the 565 and combine sewing with embroidery on so many different levels. The stitch's are consistent and easy to navigate through the menu of the 99 different stitch combinations available. Straight out of the box I was able to make this make-up bag (embroidery design was done on my EOC05) It handled the zipper like a charm and had no issues with going through multiple layers of vinyl/batting/lining to finish the seams. The machine came with the tension set and I have not had to adjust it yet, even going from 2 layers of fabric to completing several layers on the make up bags. The threader is fantastic; no more squinting to try to thread the needle or hunting for my needle threader to be able to start sewing. This machine is so quiet!! Of the 5 sewing machines I own this one won't keep everyone in the house up as I burn the midnight oil trying to finish projects. It runs very smooth and does not vibrate my table like some of my other machines. I really like the push button sewing (very new concept to me for sewing) I won't miss chasing the foot pedal or worrying about my dogs running across it as I am sewing. But like having the option to plug it in and use it. The customer service and follow up from the Poolin team with all 3 of my machines has been top notch. They are very skilled in many different aspects and offer great suggestions to ensure you are getting the most out of your machine.

I bought the Poolin EOC02 to try my hand at sewing a little vest for my niece, and it worked like a dream! The instructions were clear, and the computerized settings made it easy for me to switch between different stitches without fuss. I especially love the one-touch start/stop — no more juggling the foot pedal while guiding the fabric. The stitches came out even and neat, and the vest looks like something I bought from a boutique. The machine feels sturdy. For a sewing beginner like me, this has been the perfect mix of user-friendly and professional results. I would give this 5 stars if the bobbin opening wasn't plastic. It does work well but can have problems with thicker matierial and light weight seems to slide a bit when sewing. Otherwise it did everything I needed to finish my Christmas gnomes. I will keep it because it's does work well for most all things I do.

I am not gonna lie, I was skeptical when I made this purchase, but only because I had already bought and returned two Brother machines. I seen this Poolin machine and did some research. I made my decision and I am so GLAD I DID ! I love the machine. I played around on it the night I got it (picture posted) I will say I did have a moment of panic, I switched thread and the mache kept jamming. Fabulous sewing machine for a beginner like me. I did sew over forty years ago with the help of my mother. I read the manual and quick set up along with using the diagrams on the machine that guide you. Well thought out machine. Some excellent engineers who designed this machine with ease and practicality in mind. A beginner needs to invest the time reading and watching YouTube videos, after that the rewards are immense. Here are photos of my first day trying. After first use, I bought a variety of clips instead of pins, fabric scissors, thread remover, bobbins, various caps for the spools of threads. I only used the on/off button.
