That's very unfortunate and I think maybe due more to user error. We have had a great experience with this printer. This was a Christmas present for my 10yr old boy and has held him captivated ever since. We had zero experience (and are novice at best with technology in general) and this is the perfect 3D printer for any novice. Bought this for my son for his birthday and it works great, he’s been able to create so many little things! The instructions are very easy to follow and within a few min of setting it up he had a 3D frog! Downloading other options to print was a little more tricky but we figured it out! This is the perfect printer for anyone!

I really wanted to love this printer because it was a Christmas gift, but unfortunately we have not been able to successfully use it. Within the first month, the included SD card failed and began showing “TF card init failed.” We replaced the card, but continued experiencing first-layer adhesion issues where filament prints in loose strands instead of sticking to the bed. We have followed all standard troubleshooting steps: temperature checks, filament flow verification, factory reset, Z-offset adjustment using the paper method, and repeated calibration attempts. Despite this, the printer still does not print reliably.

Perfect for beginners and younger kids!

The media could not be loaded. For a first time beginning printer this was fairly easy to set up. Once we figured out to set the Z we were ready to rock and roll. We started off by printing the little 3D figures that came already loaded onto the drive. And then follow the instructions and manage to print a larger figurine (see photo). For a first-time printer this was pretty cool. It's not very loud in my opinion. If you shut it up into another room you'd be okay. I would recommend checking on your print here and there we did have one go sideways on us. Because it only does one filament at a time we are now printing with tricolor filaments just to make them more interesting. UPDATE: The printer had started to have problems we keep getting items that are shifting while printing causing us to waste a lot of filament because we're having to restart projects. These are things that we've printed before so the fault does not fall in the gcode the fault is in the printer not sure what to do.
