  • I would not buy this to sleep in.
If I did not have screen I would of fallen out hammock. Very lightweight and durable something different with the design or I needed a wider hammock. You are very closed in. Easy set up but seems there should be a little more to it maybe? My first time so I don't know. I do know I am searching for a wider hammock and something that seems a little more stable I want to say. ... show more

  • great standalone hammock. The bug screen & rain fly are a compromise
I purchased these items separately before there was a complete kit that included all 3. The hammock itself is great, zero complaints. It's the most rugged of all the hammocks I've used. The rain fly is about 3' too short to cover both your head & feet. The design for hanging it is also clunky & frustrating w/ long lines that easily tangle. Other vendors have easy to use clips that integrate with the hammock straps that are far better. The bug fly is also not large enough. Looks fine when you set it up w/ no weight in the hammock. But once a person gets in, the sag in the hammock pulls the bug screen so it's difficult to pull the bug netting past your body and tie it over your head once inside. Even though no skeeters are inside with you, the screen is so close to your face you can hear them buzzing. Would be much better if the bug screen was sewn to the top edge of the hammock with rigid poles to keep it from your face as an integrated solution. ... show more

  • Great until it broke, will he trying to get a refund.
Nice hammock until it broke. I’m 195 lbs (well under the weight limit) and it tore after a week of light use. Not very happy.

  • Great UL hammock setup.
I bought this at REI and have used it on multiple trips so far. It's great, it's light, it's comfortable. The durability isn't as great as the normal versions, but that's expected in an ultralight set up.

  • Great design. But buy on REI
Light weight comfortable and great design. 100 stars. Perfect for backpacking. But I recommend you get the under quilt! And you should buy it on REI. It’s cheaper. I was so thrilled to receive this for my birthday. The bug net is amazing and the cover makes you feel like you are in a cozy cocoon. Probly not the best if you are a big person. But for avid hikers and in shape people this is a great addition to your outdoor lifestyle. ... show more
