Rain fly comes with 6 tie down ropes but only 4 stakes. If you don’t have a few trees around at the correct angles then there aren’t enough stakes. The Company reached out to help resolve the issue and send the extra stakes. A company willing to reach out to their customers to correct issues is rare. Honestly made for a great starter kit. Purchased as a gift for my nephew to be able to join on hike/hammock trips and this bundle made it easy for him. The hammock is mid in all honesty, but the rainfly is superb. It’s a fair compromise and still makes for a good value. The hammock has a kind of elastic spli-ridge system for the bugnet that actually works really well, but the hammock lacks a structural ridgeline with the kit. The straps and clips are super solid, and while not necessarily lightweight, are well made. The rainfly, as mentioned earlier, is the real star. Setup as a conventional rectangle fly, you can easily stake in the corners for doors. The rainfly is heavy duty and also heavy. Durable, but certainly not lightweight. The entire kit is packable into single pack and is suitable for most weekend outings.

Hammock was easy to put up - ropes designed to clip the hammock to it's support are nicely done. Was afraid I might not be able to put it back into the built in storage pouch (attached to the hammock itself) but was no problem putting it back in. Nice color, nice design

Bought this for my son to take to scout camp. He said it was pretty easy to set up, kept the mosquitoes and spiders at bay and was pretty comfortable. It withstood two pretty intense storms throughout the week. His only complaints (quite mild) were that it’s fairly tough to get it all back in the stuff sack and it’s kinda heavy. All in all he gave it 5 stars so I did too

I would recommend this hammock set up. I’ve use it on multiple backpacking trips here in Utah and it hasn’t failed me. I’ve even bought an extra just in case I lose the first one I’ve bought. The rain tarp is easy to set up. The durability is top notch and I would rather get this than a flimsy ultralight hammock. The straps hold me well and I weigh well and I weigh 215 pounds. On a day with a bunch of bugs flying around it kept me safe from bites with the net directly sewn on the hammock that clamps with the rain tarp!
