This is a great little commuter. It has 2 racks, both front and back, and plenty of power. My previous bike was 48v and struggled with hills but this one doesn't have any problems. I can easily get it up to 28 mph. I'm not sure about the full range but have gone over 10 miles without an issue and assume you could easily go 20+, although you might have to limit your power towards the end. The brakes are good, mechanical disc. A decent headlight and a working brake light! It folds and is fairly lightweight. It's also pretty nimble courtesy of the 20" tires. ... show more

Assembly was easy no instructions, took longer to un pack, due to a lack of instructions I had a problem getting bike display to turn on but I found a similar bike , being assembled. and provided instructions for turning on display seems there was a button I didn't see, once pressed. display lit up, now all I need is warm weather. ... show more

We bought two ENGWE e-bikes in the last month. Both bikes (one from HSN and Amazon) had a flat rear tire. I had to replace both tubes. Both bikes run great, and we are glad we own them.

Absolutely worth the price it has somehow managed to survive twice getting hit by a car (so have I) and there's barely a scratch the battery is also pretty great as well as the customer service

I got a smaller one last year around March for my mom, who is 4ft 11in and that one works well for her. She used that one for daily commute from our house to the community pool. One big concern is the whole right handle is for speeding up and my mom needs to be very careful not to accidentally twist it. Another issue is we have a big hill right outside our house and it doesn’t have strong horsepower to support the small Ebike goes fast enough. What we really like about our initial purchase is the customer service from the seller. We did experienced some problems with the battery after 5mo of purchase. The seller’s responses were with patience, very detailed, and they sent over the parts within one week. I also got a flat tire once but that is not included in the warranty. Even though, the seller responded my email very quickly and patiently with possible solutions. When my husband wants an Ebike for daily commute, I checked this seller without searching for other brands. Good things for this bigger one are: easy to assemble, huge & fat tires makes it very sporty, space for additional storage both in the front and back, and the half-handle for speed-up instead of the whole-handle. My husband is 6’2 and the lowest seat position is good for him (not for me who is 5’2). If you want to ride it like a regular bike it would be like doing exercise—the Ebike is indeed very heavy. And another advantage for this one compared to the smaller one: this one comes with one pair of keys-for the battery removal and Ebike turns on. The smaller one has two pairs of keys, one for turning on and one for battery removal. Less keys also mean it is less likely we will loss them. ... show more
