Used once at the store, it’s kinda like having a trailer so you have to get use to backing up and turning around in tight spots. Plenty of walking space with the double bob stroller. Worked great on ice and 1 inch slush. Works terrible in 1 inch snow, bumpy roads not good, needs to be a smooth surface. Did not do good going through snow. It definitely almost tipped over but I caught in when going through uneven unplowed road, not a good idea, but I did buy some ankle weights to put on the bottom to maybe help with that. Kids played on it in the house without being attached to the stroller and no one fell. Got alot of compliments everyone thought it was really cool, gives me the confidence to go out with my 3 kids under the age of 3. I’m very happy I got this would be good in a store or smooth sidewalks Update July 2026 This thing is awesome, gets getting use to for steering acts like a trailer. I put 5 pound ankle weights on the bottom to make it less too heavy. Toddlers have tipped over a few times but they caught themselves, now I just make sure to hold the back of the seat when we go over bumps to be safer, but you should be fine if your in the store or on smooth surfaces. And use caution. But the trailer has been totally worth it. Love using it! And the toddlers fight over who gets to sit in it. 7 year old thought it was a blast! ... show more

    • Excellent toddler ride along!
We have a 2 year old and a 7 month old. The 2 year old refuses to ride in strollers or carts or wagons anymore, which makes things like walks or airports an absolute nightmare. We have a harness and leash so he can't just dash off but that didn't solve the problem of the sudden 'I'm too tired, carry me'. We got the Uptown Rider because it's sidecar style instead of directly behind the stroller, it doesn't impede my ability to walk. It fits on a Doona just fine and on a Graco. It is very stable and unless you're whipping around sharp corners on purpose, it's hard to topple it when it's set to the correct size for the child. It's like a bike, you need to size it for your child. It's very stable. Compared to all the other ride-alongs we priced out, I think it's a great value for the money. It was easy to put together, easy to use, it folds up fairly small - that's my only complaint, really, I wish the seat had a fold-flat hinge and the handlebars had a click-lock instead of bolt to remove. If the seat folded flat, it'd fit in a carry-on luggage bag. I wish Englacha made carry bags or airport bags for these, I would buy one in a heartbeat. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SAFE! My son 4 years old flipped over on it while attached to the stroller and moving. My niece 2 years old was on it and flipped over while we were stopped, also was attached to the stroller. This is amazing! Sturdy and rides smooth. I bought this not wanting to spend $700+ on a new double stroller but also didn’t like the stand and rides of other options. So far it’s been the best choice! I chose this because 1. Sometimes you need to buckle a little one in so they don’t go running off. 2. The seat has a back on it. 3. It has 4 wheels which I feel adds more sturdiness to it for both the stroller and the toddler and ride. 4. It rides to the side so I don’t have to reach over my toddler and don’t have to worry about shin kicking this attachment. It fits perfectly with different angle options for the arm that attaches to the stroller and attaches very securely. I didn’t like just the velcro attachment of other options. So far, so good! I’ve taken it out to a lot of places and even around my garage. I live in a community with some holes and dips in the ground, but it handles them well. It takes a little maneuvering around corners, but we got the hang of it. My son (3½ years old) absolutely loves it and can’t wait to ride it every time. It was also super easy to install! Love this thing so far. I purchased it because I take my aunt to the Dr. I also watch my grand daughter and so that means she has to go too! I have to push my aunt in a wheelchair. So I needed a solution to being more hands free. I have been looking for a solution and even though it’s made for a stroller it looks to be working with the wheelchair also. It has a quick release so I can take my aunt into the bathroom and unhook this from the wheelchair and step out and let her do her do her thing. And you don’t have to take child out of the seat. I am an older Mom with a 5-year-old while caring for my Dad, who has Parkinsons. He can no longer use a Moto scooter, and I needed a way to push my Dad's wheelchair and Daughter simultaneously. I called the manufacturer, and they were fantastic! They worked with me while I took measurements of his wheelchairs to see which would work best. We used it at the fair, and I felt so smart and capable with this hook-up. We also turned heads with comments of WOW! That is smart. We have never seen that before. As a single mom smack dab in the middle of the sandwich generation, I find this seat allows us to do more while keeping loved ones safe and together. Questions I had that I hope help you figure out if this is the best fit for you. Weight max for kiddo: 55 lbs How easy is it to maneuver? It follows easily, even around sharp turns, over uneven ground, and backing up. The ring that hooks to the wheelchair and kiddo chair stays on and never needs to be removed. It's easy to hook and click without fuss. One adjustment was that I was not paying attention, and I kicked the back wheel and stubbed my toe. It was just a matter of being aware. Its perfect! My toddler fits perfectly next to me while I walk! She loves thats she is on her "scooter" while I am able to zip around the store much more effectively!
