ORIGINAL DESIGN BY NEFELIBATA MUSIC STUDIO Our straps are made from the finest full-grain cowhide leather, specially aged to create a natural rustic vintage style, with a soft head layer cowhide bottom for soft comfort and wear resistance. High-density foam padding between the two layers of leather ensures long-lasting comfort for long performances. Soft cowhide fleece "non-slip" bottom prevents the guitar from sliding down to a horizontal position. We use super strong industrial grade wire, the same wire used to make parachutes and airbags, and thanks to the very strong wire to stitch with, you can be sure this leather guitar strap will stay with you forever. We have specially designed a guitar cord storage buckle made of cowhide and brass nails to prevent embarrassment caused by guitar cords falling off during stage performances. Excellent Quality leather belt!!!!! This is firm leather thick too!. I love it. I put Mink oil on, "Available on Amazon as well". Let it sit overnight or just put it on the instrument and it will darken it a little but it will make it softer too. It's the perfect strap for a forever instrument!

When I bought the strap it was $21.99. I thought "wow this thing is great I'm going to buy another!" but not at this new price. At $48 it is no longer a great value. How does a double in price in the space of two weeks? Make it make sense Amazon.

Sure makes wearing an electric guitar over your shoulder much more comfortable. I own three electric guitars. Bought this 3-inch wide strap for an electric I recently purchased, with the hope that the width would help reduce the fatigue I sometimes experience. I got the black strap on sale for %50 off. I see why it was on sale. It has a moldy smell as if it was dyed with expired dye. I’ve cleaned it with bleach, Lysol, and soaked it in oxyclean. After the third soak in water the water is still pitch black. I’ll soak it a few more times to see if the smell goes away. I doubted the way real so I tested it by burning and scratching it. It appears the top layer is real leather. Though it is low quality heavily dyed leather like you might find on a Nike sneaker. The bottom layer is an elephant skin textured vinyl with 2 layers of foam separated by another layer of vinyl. Would be a good strap if it didn’t smell like pure unfettered ass. ... show more
