Just received it today and seems to be well made. The “screen protector “ came with and extra set. The RC2 cover was easy to attach, fits great, and add additional protection to the screen and block sum light. The only downside is the lanyard is very long and the adjustments don’t shorten it enough, so the control hangs down to my belt buckle. I am brand new to the drone hobbyist world, and purchased a DJI Flip a few weeks ago. I quickly realized that, though my RC2 screen is bright, having a little shade greatly improved the ability to see what is going on on the screen. When I searched for a screen hood/protector, this option from FPVtosky seemed highly rated, so I ordered it and gave it a try. First, the lanyard and associated rings are easy to use and fit well. Second, the hood snaps on easily, securely, and is held in place by two small thumb screws. One items worth noting is that the hood covers up the location where the removable joysticks are stored. This isn't a huge issue, as the hood protects and encloses the joysticks. The screen protector also fit very well, an incredibly tight fit, and provides a marginal glare reduction. This is an inexpensive cover (I purchased the version that does not have the lanyard) that is easy to install and will provide protection to the screen when closed, and possibly some sun shade while open, depending on the angle of the sun. The downsides for the unit I received is that it does not close securely, leaving a gap at the bottom that can let dust in and get caught and pulled open by mistake (see photo). It does not have an additional flip-out sun screen, which can provide shade in more situation. The Arzroic unit I bought previously snaps closed more securely and has small pads at the sides of the cover to help protect the remote. While it was slightly more expensive, it fit better and had the added fold-out sunscreen, and the lanyard. ... show more

    • A cheap way to protect your screen during transport and to provide some sun shade while out flying!

I picked this up more for the protection of the screen than for sun shade purposes, but it does both well. It's easy to install, it comes with two crews that you use to mount it to the back of your RC controller, just snap it on and hand tighten the screws. What I love about this cover is that you don't have to take off the control knobs off the remote anymore when throwing it a bag, the cover is designed to fit over the controller while the knobs are installed, that's a big plus for me since it saves time and I'm less likely to lose a knob. Cover is lightweight, but sturdy enough that you won't need to worry about your screen being accidentally scratched or cracked while transporting it in a bag with other items. It does provide a nice block of the sun to give you a bit more visibility while flying in high contrast sunny days.
