  • TILT ACTION: The Oberg Tilt Lift Engine Sling allows you to progressively tilt and lift the engine up to 45 degrees in either direction.
  • LOCKING TAB: Our hoist sling comes with lever locks that hold into place at exact angles needed to lift or lower your engine in as little as 1/4" increments, using a 1/2" ratchet or breaker bar. This makes it easy for one-handed adjustment!
  • LIGHT & SAFE: Our lift has been making engine swaps easy for decades! Our upgraded steel components provided greater strength and better control of cable to eliminate possibility of crossover. Our sling has a 3 to 1 Safety Factor (tested up to 6,000 lbs.) and weighs only 4 Lbs. making it compact and easy to Store.
  • INSTRUCTIONS & MAINTENANCE: One half turn of the drum with a regular half-inch ratchet or half-inch breaker bar will tilt an engine up to 45 degrees. Avoid Power tools as it will turn the drum too quickly and cause the cable to get tangled. USE OF POWER TOOL WILL VOID THE TILT LIFT 1 YEAR WARRANTY. For best performance, occasionally apply lubricant to the drum body and cable front and back. We recommend a spray lubricant or white grease.

Genius. Many other tools on the market overcomplicate hoisting an engine while keeping it level, with screws and cumbersome designs; Oberg made this simple. The 1/4 insert for adjusting the cables works exactly as it should without binding. My only complaint with this tool is the lack of strength that the locking arm has; a bit more tension added to the arm would keep it from wiggling itself free from the sprocket, which does happen from time to time. If you want a hassle-free, space-saving tool to make your life easier, this is the one. ... show more

Finally got a chance to use this at the GM dealer. Only reason for 4 stars is it would be nice to get it closer to the engine for lift height / clearing radiator support. Didn’t work well on smaller toyota 4 cyl engine. Definitely worth getting for bigger applications.

Compact allowing me to get engines into places that the standard long load levelers can't. Very easy to swivel engine too. The ends are eyelets and are pre bent for you. All around this is a high quality piece. I wish I knew about this years ago honestly. Love this thing

I am removing an RX-8 engine. Not very heavy. Lets me get any angle needed and so easy to use. A 1/2" drive breaker bar works great.
