The RVgolf Engine+Cabin Air Filters Kit for the Toyota Tacoma V6 comes with two air filters. There is a cabin air filter that fits nicely into the compartment accessed through the glove box and an engine air filter that dropped in easily in the compartment under the hood. Replacement of both filters was easy, didn’t require any tools, and it took more time to empty and replace the items in the glove box than it did to replace both filters. The Toyota dealership quoted me $80 to replace the cabin air filter only. I replaced both filters for less than $30. The filters felt like they were good quality. The engine air filter is multi-layered, with a thin foam layer to keep larger debris from blocking the finer paper filter. The cabin air filter said and looked like it had a carbon layer to absorb smells. The only concern I had was size. After I had replaced both filters I went to slide the engine air filter I replaced into the RVgolf box to throw it away. The engine air filter I replaced would not slide into the RVgolf box. It was too big. After driving for a few days and a couple of hundred miles, I popped the hood and checked the fit of the engine air filter. The fit looked perfect. See attached photos. ... show more

Mazda CX50 2023 2.5s Perfect fit and honestly the micron filter material is a better quality than the one I bought at the auto parts store 🤷🏽♂️ both engine and cabin filter. Both filters for lesser price of just the engine filter alone. Switched both out in around 5min.

OEM compatible fit, solid and seems to have good air flow, the included accessory installation guide was a quick and well illustrated summary. The filter are durable, but seem to have an odor of motor oil or some kind or oil at first with the cabin filter but that went away quickly after about 10-15 minutes. Sure beats what the tire shop was going to charge me for replacement $250 for both, and the hardest part was emptying the contents of the glove box which needed cleaned out anyway ... show more

Overall, super easy to install both filters - 10-15 minutes combined. Engine filter was a perfect fit replacement. Cabin filter was the correct dimensions but two major differences from the original: 1. Original filter had a thin card-stock frame around all four sides of the filter, presumably to contain the airflow through the filter, whereas this replacement only had this frame on the two shorter sides. This could compromise the airflow allowing it to leak out the long, unframed sides of the filter. 2. Cabin filter is rectangular with printed airflow direction on the outfacing longer side. This filter, besides missing the aforementioned longer two sides card-stock frame, had the printed airflow on one of the shorter ends that are hidden when installed. Can't say whether the incomplete frame around the cabin filter was a design or manufacturing shortcoming, but it could potentially compromise the effectiveness if the filter. Given that the dealer wanted nearly $400 to replace these two filters, these are well worth the difference for a couple less pieces of cardboard. ... show more
