I got this for a build I was working on recently. I wanted something that was modular because having too many cables in a cramped case would be no good. I also wanted something that was at least 80 Plus Gold certified. This certification at least tells me the components used are of good quality and it should be reliable. I don't think the possible energy savings will amount to much, but at least I can rest easy knowing that I should not have to worry about parts failing on it any time soon. It came with the proper amounts of cable, and they are long enough for routing around the case. One thing to be aware of is that I did not have an additional 4 pin plug for my Ryzen 7000 series processor. It is not needed in my case because I do not plan on overclocking but just a thought to keep in mind. The DF mention on this is supposedly a "Dust Free" feature. Apparently it will spin the fan in the opposite direction at startup to push dust out before spinning in the correct way to pull in cool air. Don't quite know if this is a gimmick or what. Time will tell when I go to clean the PC. It doesn't bother me either way. It fits my needs and works.

Not much to say about this one, the computer I'm writing this review on is currently using this power supply, and I haven't encountered any issues with it as of a month in. It's nice and quiet, it came with all the cables I needed, and it's very powerful and efficient for the price. The only real complaint I have about this one is the cables it comes with look very cheap, but they get the job done.

I went for this as the main brands were mostly oos. This had good reviews and performing well so far. It is powering a Ryzen 7 3700x and RX 5700xt. I don't hear the fan noise even when the case is open. Couple of minor issues are: The mounting holes didn't line up with the case. I used the bottom two. And for the top used ventilation holes which would provide support if the case is reversed . Another issue is the brand name plate gets stuck while inserting in the case. Enermax could very well use a print and remove the plate all together. It's fully modular and you connect only the cables needed. The cables are not braided and doesn't look great. If you want good looks, better to get some cable extensions. So far it is doing its main duty well. So 5 stars. Will update if anything changes in that.

Purchased for a new AMD AM5 processor and Gigabyte motherboard. Unit wouldn't power on system. Wouldn't even light the LEDs on the motherboard. Tried a power supply from another computer and the new stuff works fine. Cable fitment is terrible at both ends as well. Should have spent more time reading these reviews!

It's a fully modular PSU with thin black wires. Everything was tightly packaged together and it turned on without any problems. I did quite a bit of research before ordering this psu. It's quiet under load and everything is labeled for you, so wouldn't see a problem with you getting confused on what goes where.
