I have no problem with the CR2032 battery. They work fine installed powering my bathroom scale. I did, however, order a ten-pack of CR2025. I did not order the CR2032 and that is what I received. CR2032 is slightly thicker than CR2025 Lithium batteries. They have all of their intrinsic qualities of them but installing them in a Computer motherboard to back up Bios can translate to a poor connection. Back up battery needs a correct fit. If it is your preference, the clips in the battery mount can be bent and altered slightly but the thickness matters. What if you break the battery socket in the process of "modifying" it? -- For as long as either fit in the battery compartment, the CR2025 and CR2032 may be used interchangeably with minimal effect although the CR2032 would probably last slightly longer simply because it has a higher capacity (mAh). Nov 11, 2022 - I needed to relpace a CR2032 in a small dashcam remote so I knew I had plenty that I had bought only 3 years ago and 1 month ago. These were stored inside in a cabinet drawer. Every single one of them was dead. All NINE of them. I checked them with a battery charger and the needle jumped to green then quickly plunged down into the red.
