  • The only leak-proof batteries
Unlike alkaline, zinc-carbon or most rechargeable batteries, these litiums primary batteries will not leak, eve if they are fully exhausted and left inside devices. They operate well in temperature extremes, especially in very cold weather and applications. They will last longer than any other type of primary cell in just about every application. If there's one caveat, it's that these cells hold a very consistent voltage throught their useable life. Once exhausted the power levels fall dramatically in a very short time. Unlike other chemistries that have the voltage dropping consistently as they batteries are used up, these can die rather suddenly. You can often get little or no warning before lithium batteries conk out. Many devices that have battery level meters or warnings that alert you to low batteries and allow you to replace them with some time to spare, there's a good chance that you will encounter something that is just suddenly dead. Shelf life is extraordinary though, making lithium batteries the optimum choice for devices and products that sit for long periods before being needed, often in emergencies. Things like flashlights, radios, test equipment and tools, and similar. They are also excellent choices for items that draw little power but get used occasionally or continuously, like remote controls, clocks, alarm components, back up batteries and the like. Prices for these batteries are finally beginning to drop a bit, likely because the Energizer patent exclusivity is going to end soon, and soon other brands will fill the space and likely at much lower prices. Shop for deals, usually large quantities like these get you the best price per cell. ... show more

Use these for my blink cameras. Long life

  • BUYER BEWARE
Update to previous bad review...i still standby it but have more detailed info. I kept most of the batteries so I went back and checked them with a voltmeter and what I found was 1 out of every 5 was bad...reading .4 or .5. The rest were still good at 1.7. So, I went and checked my cams after just replacing the batteries with the last of this order the previous day and both cams were now dead. Checked each cameras battery holders (holds 6 batteries) and it read 9.7...so it should have been good...but the cameras wouldn't work. So I checked each individual new battery and found 1 in each holder that read .5...I replaced it with one that read 1.7 and the cameras worked perfectly. So I was able to go back and salvage some of the batteries and after checking all of them...1 out of every 5 is either dead or has a short in it coming right out of the package. We should not have to check every battery we buy...that is a quality control issue...and because these come repackaged...I believe this is intentional. So who ever Amazon is getting these from (since Amazon is the listed supplier) is ripping us off and they should stop buying from them. Buy them in the original packaging not the box with batteries plastic wrapped to themselves in 4 per wrapping. Someone is adding dead batteries to the packages. Agree with multiple other reviews...DO NOT buy these either knock offs labeled as energizer lithium or intentionally mislabeled junk batteries. I usually get a year of game cam pics (well over 60,000) before the true energizer lithium die. With these...can't even get 2 weeks (barely 2000 pics). Once true lithium lose power they lose it like falling off a cliff. They completely stop working. When I checked this cam it turned on and the battery level was fluttering between 10-30 per cent...I have never seen that accept in alkaline batteries. So, I just installed the last 6 "brand new" ones today and the cam showed 100 per cent for about 30 secs and then it started fluttering at 60-80 per cent. Amazon needs to stop selling these. ... show more

I used them on my blink camaras

  • These look like real energizer batteries but I have my doubts.
These look like real Energizer batteries but I have my doubts. I've used them in 3 seperate applications. In each application they only lasted 1 to 2 months. They should have lasted 1 to 2 years. Also I checked the nominal voltage before I was going to put some newones in and found that the voltage was 1.8 volts, yikes! I hope I didn't damage anything by using these. **** UPDATE **** I WENT AND PURCHASED BATTERIES FROM BESTBUY AND HAD THE SAME RESULTS. THEREFORE I'M UPGRADING TO 4 STARS. APPARENTLY ALL MY DEVICES ARE BAD. NOT THE BATTERIES. ... show more

  • Good Batteries
The batteries I received in June 2022 has an expiration date of 12/2041; since they have a 20-year shelf life I'm not alarmed that these are already 6-months old. The batteries appear to be genuine Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. I tested all 24 batteries in the "Not for Retail" package and all were good. I've recently purchased the same battery from my local big box (Wxx-Mxxt) store and paid about 25% more, thus this Amazon purchase is a good value. I've replaced the alkaline AA batteries in my various remote controls (about 12 total, 3 of them with corroded batteries from leakage); only 2 of the remotes don't work with the new lithium batteries, but I don't know if the batteries are the cause (older Sony VHS recorder/players) or the aforementioned corroded batteries damaged the remotes. I'm aware that not all alkaline AA battery powered devices will work with the higher voltage lithium batteries; I have a digital tire gage whose instruction manual warns of its incompatibility with lithium batteries. Unfortunately, if you have an older device its instruction manual will unlikely address its compatibility with these newer lithium batteries since lithium batteries were likely not in widespread use when your older device was made. I do not have a solution for this situation; you could try the lithium batteries in your device but be warned that doing so may damage your device. ... show more
