Noticeably smaller than the bulb it replaced but brighter. I like daylight bulbs and these light up our space nicely. Hopefully they will last longer than the bulbs I replaced but I can’t report on that yet.

I like the brightness and color (of the light) of these bulbs. However one particular bulb constantly goes out and I have to reseat it every time. No other bulbs do/have done that before in this fixture so I’m assuming it’s the bulb.

I bought these for my rental property, when some old CF bulbs started blinking and obviously about to fail. I sent them to my renter, and he installed them, then asked if maybe I would be OK adding a dimmer to the kitchen light switch? Because these are 30-50% brighter than the old bulbs, and first thing in the morning, the kitchen is more of an interrogation room - way too bright for just got out of bed eyeballs. And these ARE dimmable LED bulbs... I found a $20 dimmer on Amazon, which I will be installing in my rental property for their dimming convenience. Note that I don't consider the brightness a ding, it was exactly what I was hoping for. The old bulbs never really lit the kitchen properly, IMHO. And indeed, once it is full daylight and eyesight has adjusted to brightness in the house lights, they will likely be at max brightness when needed. Just know that these are very bright, as the description says. It's spot on. They are also a very nice "warm white", looking very close to the 3000K-4000K range I was wanting. If you want something dimmer, either also buy and install a suitable dimmer switch that is certified for LED bulbs, or buy bulbs that are not rated as many lumens/LUX. I love these, 5 stars, great bulbs. Great, bright bulbs. Great value too, for this six-pack of bulbs under $30 USD. I can't speak to longevity, but I need 5 bulbs and this six pack is perfect since I have a spare if one of these flakes out. If that happens, I'll update this review. But for now, so far, so good. ... show more

We purchased the Energetic BR30 105 Lumen 3000k bulbs, replacing some 2700k bulbs rated at 700 Lumens. We had been at warm white, but wanted a little crisper lighting in the kitchen, so the overheads and under-counter fluorescents were all changed. The Energetic BR30 105-watt equivalent looked like a great choice, as there was a dimmer already. The Energetic bulbs are amazingly bright. they are SO bright, the dimmer is rarely turned up to the max. Note the Energetic BR30s are a quarter to 5/16 shorter than other bulbs. I compared them to three other brands, and included a photo of one. Recess ceiling cans have an easy adjustment, though. I had re-lamped a couple of fixtures before I realized the new bulbs were a little deeper than the old. When they are on, no one could notice because they are too bright to look at! These super bright BR30 bulbs are a bit more expensive than other bulbs, but the brightness they deliver is worth the extra cost to us. ... show more
