I suggest using a secondary light for those very dark drains if possible. I liked the length of the wire and that it came with little accessories. Now I know what some of the plumbing looks like on the inside. Not pretty. Easy to use. Set-up on the iPhone (installing the app) was painless. Also painless on Windows laptop. Plugged it in on laptop and brought up the Camera app and there it was. I was surprised however that Windows didn’t give me a dialog box when plugging it in asking me what to do with a new device. I would have liked to say something like “open the Camera app” when this device is plugged in. That’s on Windows, not the borescope. I think the picture quality is good enough for anything I’ll be using it for. Guess I did expect picture to be sharper or clearer. It’s somewhat grainy.

I am a landlord and I've only had this for a couple of weeks but I have already used it twice! Once to see if a furnace exhaust was blocked and once to fish an object out of a furnace return vent! I'm telling my fellow landlords!

I have a Motorola Edge + 2022. Unfortunately I can't get my phone's usb option off of charge only with this device so it wouldn't work. However it worked perfectly with my friends Samsung S22. We poked it down drains at his house and under doors and in ducts. Works great and was blown away by the Focal point. I expect the camera to not focus at anything more than a few inches away. However if you slid it under a door, you can see the whole room clearly. Also worked great seeing down drains and ducts. However there is one issue. The camera body is fairy long so it is difficult to get through the sharp bends and elbows in piping. I like the ability to control the light level via the dimmer switch. that's awesome. The long cord is also great allowing for deep pentation of ducts.

The Endoscope Industrial Borescope has been a game-changer for me. As a hobbyist mechanic, I've always struggled with diagnosing issues in tight, hard-to-reach areas. This borescope, however, has made it incredibly easy. The 1920P HD camera provides crystal-clear images, and the 8 adjustable LED lights illuminate even the darkest crevices. I've used it to inspect engine components, check for leaks in pipes, and even explore the inner workings of electronic devices. The 16.4ft semi-rigid snake cable is long enough to reach deep into machinery, and the IP67 waterproof rating ensures it can handle tough environments. The ability to connect to my iPhone, Android phone, or PC makes it incredibly versatile. I can easily capture images and videos, share them with others, or save them for future reference. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this borescope and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable inspection tool.

I ordered this borescope to use with my iPhone for automotive work. I have an older one that has its own screen but is very grainy. This 1920p version is much better resolution and it’s very convenient having it connect to my iPhone. Install was as easy as the directions stated. I plugged it into my iPhone, the iPhone said it needed an app not yet installed, I installed the app through the App Store, and that was it. It does take it a good bit when first plugging in the borescope before it produces an image. It’s long enough that I thought it wasn’t going to work, unplugged, replugged, and waited again. The body of the cable/wire isn’t as heavy duty as I’d like given the places it needs to snake through. I’ll have to be careful when using it. This also means it’s not as stiff which can be both good and bad. It will flex around things easier but will also not be as sturdy. The quality of the pictures isn’t as good as I expected for 1920p. It’s decent but you can see from the picture I posted of the back of the box that it gets a bit grainy. I used the back of the box because of the text and being able to better show the resolution. If you put the borescope inside an engine cylinder and are trying to look for scoring or cross hatching, the graininess and resolution can matter.

Super handy gadget to have on hand. I got this to use mostly when working on my car for those hard to see spaces, but there’s a lot of practical uses for this. The app is easy to download and set up. The image is decent, not perfect by any means but it’s good. I would recommend to anyone that needs a little help seeing into a hard to see spot.

I owned an older endoscope that came with a screen and rechargeable batteries. This nice little endoscope works perfectly with my phone and I don't have to keep around the other one anymore. The image is pretty good and it set up easily with the app. I didn't realize there was a dimming adjustment on the cord itself, as I was looking everywhere on the app for that setting. It's on the small piece that separates the connectors. Turned up bright, and it works very well. And at a fair price. This will be handy and will take up residence with my other tools.
