Could have better attachments, they just come right off if you're a little rough with them. Didn't work for my needs but I can definitely see it being useful for other projects. (Was trying to clear a drain.)

Item Review: Endoscope Camera with Light, SKYEAR Handheld Borescope 4.3'' HD 1080P Sewer Camera with 16.4ft Semi-Rigid Cable, 8 Adjust LED Lights Inspection Camera for Automotive/Home/Wall/Pipe/Car This endoscope did its job okay, but with a 2MP camera, all my video images were graining and not the best to look at. I could see things, but would have liked clearer images. I do like the long cord that came with it. It allowed me to look into deeper and farther areas when practicing with it. While working on my dishwasher, I dropped a screw on the floor. When it dropped, I thought it might have rolled under the stove/oven. I tried reaching my hand in, but it didn't get too far. I found one of those little sweeper things, to dust around crevices and in narrow places, that didn't work so well either. I even tried using my phone light and a separate flashlight to look under the stove, but couldn't get a good enough angle to see anything. I didn't want to move the stove just to find out it wasn't there. I had just received the endoscope and used it to peak under, but it wasn't there. I did find it elsewhere, but I was pleased I didn't have to pull the stove out to check. Before I could use it for the stove though, I had to understand how to use it. It is a bit complicated for someone like me who has never used one. All-in-all, it's not bad, especially for the price. A better camera would have necessitated 5 Stars, as is, 4 Stars from me. ... show more

Although I was expecting the 50 foot cable that this product originally advertised (and that matches the very long looking cord in the ad's picture), I received the 16 foot cable which has now been updated in the product listing. The longer cord would have been incredibly helpful for scoping out water main lines and drain lines so this is disappointing, however, the 16 foot cable on this device will still by very useful. My husband just used it today to diagnose and help repair a broken part inside our dryer without disassembly! The clearest image is about 1-4 inches from the end of the lens, and within that range it is really good (outside of that range it can get blurry.) The only minor complaint my husband had with this scope was that the control buttons took some getting used to. Since there are 9 of them in addition to the on/off, he had to remember which one did what even though we don't think all of these buttons are really necessary. For example, the "enhance" and "reduce" sharpness function produces a barely noticeable difference and makes us wonder why anyone would really want a reduced quality image? But we're very happy with this scope otherwise, the price seems reasonable, and we're looking forward to using it more. ... show more

Borescope camera and light work well. The screen is clear. Battery seems to take a charge and maintain power for a decent amount of time. My complaints - arrived in the box with virtually no packing to protect the unit. No case for storage. The instructions are tiny, full of errors and basically useless. The 50ft cable is heavy, awkward and difficult to work with. Would maybe be a good thing to have for sewage drain or supply line inspection for a plumber, but isn't user friendly for auto repair or general use. Get the shorter lengths of cable if plumbing isn't your intended use. ... show more

I have an inexpensive USB C borescope, which has always been kind of a pain, since there isn't really a good app for it. This connecting up to it's own screen makes that problem irrelevant. Pros: This thing connects up to it's camera super easily, and is up and running in seconds. The camera is nice and long, and I can see well on the screen. Cons: The actual unit is super light, and doesn't feel super well made. Should be fine for occasional use though. ... show more
