This endoscope works very well and displays a really good picture. I didn’t want to have to connect to my phone so this model was my top choice. I used this to see a hard to find spot to put a bolt in while fixing a vehicle, made putting the bolt back in much easier. Waterproof camera also works great for finding drain clogs.

This borescope works great for odds and ends homeowner projects. It can be put inside walls, HVAC ducts, and rafters. I've used mine for car maintenance. It's really great for finding bolts that you've dropped down into an engine bay. I recently used mine to watch the tube that I had stuck in the fill plug hole of a transmission while I stood next to the car and pumped oil down the tube into the transmission. It let me check if the tube had fallen out of the transmission or if it was full without having to be under the car watching it. It's a really handy tool that I keep finding uses for. Each time, I think "this process would've taken a lot longer without this thing". The only downside is image quality. At this price point you're not going to get crystal clear clarity, but it can be a bit fuzzy when viewing something from a distance. If you can get the camera right up against something, it'll work great. But if you just stick the camera into a wall or pipe and can't get it perfectly facing what you're looking at you're going to get a slightly fuzzy view. Unless you're looking to spend much more, I think this is the best product you're going to get. Unless you're doing hardcore engine building or professional contracting, I'd start with this borescope and see if you're needing a higher-quality one later.

I’ve been extremely impressed and pleased with this device. The price was very reasonable and it worked perfectly. I especially like that it’s an “all-in-one” solution for viewing hard (impossible) to reach places. The fact that it is complete with the sensor, the built in illumination, and the video screen for viewing and guiding the probe makes it much, much easier to use that older devices that required use of a phone for the viewing screen. That has the advantage of being able to record video or snap photos, but the convenience of this endoscope far outweighs that minor limitation. I bought this when I had to change the anode rod on my hot water heater. They are consumed over time and must be replaced to prevent corrosion of the water tank itself. Anyway, I wanted to examine the inside of the tank to see if it was still in good condition and to see if there was any buildup of scale at the bottom of the tank. This endoscope worked perfectly for the task. The resolution was plenty good enough to see around the sides of the tank and to determine that there was very little scale buildup at the bottom. So my project turned out very well and the scope was perfect for the job. This device worked so well that I now know I’ll be able to use it for numerous other unusual chores around the house that would never get done because, without it, they are way too difficult to undertake. Like checking under the refrigerator for dust buildup on the heat exchange coils, or looking for lost items in hard to reach places in the car, etc. It’s surprising how many tasks can be accomplished more easily with this handy gadget.

My son has been messing around working on his car, yes, he’s ‘that’ age! We are now using this industrial endoscope to look around the engine and get to areas your hands cannot go without dismantling something. I was inspired to check us out after my son dropped a wrench into his engine bay. This is the perfect tool to check out possible engine issues, is useful if you lose something, and is perfect for any small space that you need an extra set of eyes. It is USB charging, the screen is clear, can change from black & white to color, there’s a screen flip feature, you can adjust the brightness, and zoom in and out. It also comes with accessory attachments: fitting device, hook, Magnet, and mirror. We will be using this endoscope for many, many years to come.

I cant ask for anything more! The image quality and large screen make it easy to see details. The unit does not require a phone, internet or a power plug. It recharges quickly and the charge lasts. The ability to zoom in and out, adjust the contrast, adjust the led lights and view the image on color or black and white add to the units value. Everything is easy to used. Everything you need comes with the unit but if you plan to take the camera with you often I would invest in an indecisive case.

In some ways this is a very good product. It is good quality for the price, has a good picture, good lighting control, nice features, etc. My complaint: I bought this to try to look inside pipes. The high level description/title says, "Waterproof Endoscope for Sewer", so I feel i had a reasonable expectation that it would do that. Now that I have it and have tested it, I feel it is not good for that job. First, the cable is so stiff that it is hard to get it to maneuver through bends. It can go through a single bend that is close to the starting point, but any more complicated bend or a bend farther from the starting point is very hard to get past. Second, the end with the camera has such a sharp edge that it catches on the smallest of seams.
