Not usually the type to leave reviews, but these lights are pretty awesome. I saw them while looking for something to brighten up the shop and figured, why not. They showed up quick and right off the bat my wife thought they were cool - they had a bunch of layout ideas printed right on the packaging. She started pointing out which one I should try and I ended up doing my own thing, but it was fun messing with the shapes. Setup was easy. They snap together, stick to the wall, and you're done. I didn't need to mess much with the instructions, just plugged them in and they worked. The remote is actually really handy, it lets you turn the lights on and off and brighter without having to reach behind stuff. I use it way more than I thought I would. If you want something that looks cool and doesn't take a bunch of work, these are definitely worth it. Honestly I thought they'd be kinda gimmicky but they're solid.     • A Solid Addition to My Porch
I purchased these for use on my porch, and they work like a charm. My porch is brilliantly-lit, and stylishly so. The hexagon patterns are large, declaratively geometric, and fun to show my friends. I was worried before buying them that they simply wouldn't be big enough, but that is not the case. They really and truly fill up the ceiling on my porch. The plug-in and mounting hardware is very user-friendly. Stickies and screws enough to not have to worry about them falling down at every step of the way. The corner pieces are also solid enough to hold everything in place, while not so inflexible that they prevent users with weaker hands from putting them together. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Getting one set made me wonder what it would be like to outfit an entire, large space with them. Pure cyberpunk/modern home vibes. These are incredibly bright, even at their dim setting, so if you buy them, keep in mind that whatever space you put them into (I'd suggest a garage, porch, or other area where bright lighting is more key than mood) will be visible in great detail. ... show more

    • Poor build quality
Lights are pretty cool, but quality of build is lacking. The plastic attachments tend to break really easily if not really careful when installing (aka pushing) bulbs into them. And if by chance you put the wrong attachment on and decide to change your mind, good luck. The plastic attachments cracked no matter how careful I was which led to having to remove the light on the other side which then broke that attachment and light bulb housing. I had just enough spare pieces based on my design to cover the pieces that broke. There are even thin sheets of transparent wrap over the lightbulb covers so they don’t get scratched which is nice, but those didn’t even cover the bulbs. They were half on the bulbs and half on the plastic housing. Just signs of poor quality control. Once I did get the lights up, they looked good and functioned well. I will admit that, at a bare minimum, the lights technically work, at least after setup and about five minutes of use. Unfortunately, the installation process revealed just how awful the material quality really is. Everything creaks, flexes, and feels like it is seconds away from disintegrating in your hands, and sure enough, a couple of pieces broke. After mounting the lights, we realized we had used the wrong connection point. Since the parts are supposedly interchangeable and designed to clip in and out, I tried to remove one piece to swap it so I could use the dimming switch. Instead, it snapped off instantly and the broken piece went flying across the garage like a tiny plastic missile. For the price they are charging, this feels like highway robbery. The quality is what you would expect from a bargain bin app at two in the morning, except with a premium price tag. I would never recommend these to a friend. ... show more

Pros: the lights are a very nice brightness, especially with the three levels of dimness. The color accuracy was as advertised. And the size was true to scale after assembled. Cons: the whole assembly is very cheaply made, and the plastic pieces on the ends of the light connectors tend to snap off while assembling. One of the light bars that was in the box when I received it was defective and would shut off when cycling through dimness levels. I contacted the company and they were very helpful and sent me a brand new light bar. After installation, the problem was fixed. One other problem is that the lights don’t stay off. I have found that unless you unplug them or turn off their power source the remote on and off button that comes with it does not keep them turned off. I’m not exactly sure why this is, but it is a headache as I was very excited to use the remote for on and off controls. Overall, I do recommend this product as I’m sure it is just as good if not better than others on the market. I also appreciated the customer service. I installed in my basement on joist and it was not the easiest, especially for one person. It would definitely be doable with one person on a flat surface like drywall but much easier with two people. Would have been 3 stars but they get an extra star for customer service! ... show more

I installed the Enbrighten Ultrabrite Hex Lights in my garage and couldn’t be happier with the results. The lights were straightforward to put together, though I definitely recommend having two people for the instal. It makes the hanging process much smoother. Since I was attaching them to open rafters, I had to get a little creative with the setup. If your garage is finished, it’ll be even easier. Once up, they completely transformed the space. Super bright, clean light that makes the whole area feel bigger and more usable. Overall, I’m really impressed with how these look and perform. These are bad quality about same as the 60 dollar ones, light is bright enough, my main issue is the quality one of the light bar is defective it wont fully light up i would return but taking apart would break the clips, and its not worth my time to take it apart. :/
