Time will tell, but upon opening out of a well designed package, you find the battery has a nice protective plastic cover. This is welcome, as when you have multiple batteries, it's nice to know whichever one you're putting in your case will have this protector on it. After charging the batteries, I tried them in my D5300, and they both worked perfectly. After a few days and a few dozen shots later, it still shows full charge. All is good.

I own an older Nikon D3300 camera that needed two new rechargable batteries. I ordered a 2-Pack of EN-EL14 / EN-EL14a Batteries from the Eeyrnduy Store. They charged right up in my Nikon battery charger and my camera took photos and videos all weekend. This Vine review is about the "Eeyrnduy EN-EL14 / EN-EL14a 2-Pack Batteries and Charger" kit. As the product name implies, the kit provides two EN-EL14 batteries for Nikon DSLR cameras, and a USB-powered charger for said batteries. The kit arrived in a small box, well packaged. The batteries came with their terminals covered by protective plastic caps, and wrapped in anti-static bags. The charger includes a USB-A to USB-C cable, which connect to an external power adapter (not included) and to the charger, respectively. The charger also accepts a micro-USB cable, for use with older charging bricks and cables, which is a nice touch of flexibility. Upon arrival, the batteries were about 70% charged, and it took less than 40 minutes to charge them to 100% (before I began testing them). I have used the batteries in two 3-hour sessions of photography, each consisting of two phases: 1) Using live view heavily for 90 minutes, which keeps the camera LCD screen on, and drains power more than taking quick snapshots. This drained out about 33% of the batteries, even though the camera's battery indicator stayed at 3/3 bars full. 2) Taking repeated long-exposure photographs (2 to 4 minutes each shot) for the next 1 to 2 hours. This phase drains the battery slower, but I noticed that it went from 3/3 bars down to 1/3 bars in less than an hour. Hence I inferred that the length and type of photo sessions was a better test than just relying on the battery level indicator of the camera. Both batteries were tested as above, and they both lasted upwards of 2h40m. If I used the live view more sparingly, they would have easily surpassed 3 hours worth of long exposures. By comparison, a brand-name third-party battery I bought on Amazon previously would have been depleted in under 80 minutes of these demanding test conditions. I am very happy with these results for the Eeyrnduy batteries, and hereby give 5 stars to this product as shipped in June 2024.

An OEM branded Nikon EN-EL14a battery costs roughly $30-40 by itself so this is a great deal for only $25! I know what you're thinking...these are aftermarket batteries so they can't be that great. Well, I put them to the test during one of my photo sessions (using a Nikon D5300) and they lasted just as long as my 3 week old OEM branded battery. I got roughly 430 shots from one of the Eeyrnduy batteries and roughly 460 shots from my Nikon battery. I don't consider that too bad so I guess only time will tell if they hold after multiple recharges (I'll come back and edit my review if they fail). The charger is a nice addition since it allows you to use either the old micro USB connector or the newer USB-C connector to charge. I sort of wish they could have integrated the cord into the charger somehow so I'm not having to keep a loose cord in my camera bag. The LCD screen lets you know when it's charging by turning blue and it shuts off the blue light when the batteries are done charging. It's actually kind of nice being able to charge multiple batteries at the same time. Just make sure you use a USB charger that outputs at least 2 amps for faster charging.
