After 18 years, 15 hrs per day for work, of Plantronics /Poly, 17 of which were nearly perfect, the last year has been a nightmare since Poly took over. I spent $240 on 3 devices since December, and major design and engineering changes and problems, with all 3. Bluetooth earpieces are a major component to my successful business. After 3 days of freaking out & desperately searching for anything that looked even close to the quality of what Plantronics was for 17 years I found it! This EMOTAL bluetooth earpiece is amazing. Patterned nearly identically to the Plantronics 5200, but imo it's superior to even that model when it was good. It's a little smaller, sleeker, ridiculous battery life, and PERFECT operation. Clear as a bell voice, best noise cancelling, both of which are imperative to my business. I used to have to charge my Bluetooth after 6 hrs, this device lasts me nearly 4 days! Not kidding. Also it's a quarter of the cost of my old unit. No issues at all. Plantronics always had a few quirks, and bugs, this device has zero issues. I have had a Plantronics bluetooth in my ear for 98,000+ hours over 18 years, because it was always the best one out there, no comparison (I tried many others over the years, nothing ever came close) until now. This EMOTAL bluetooth earpiece surpasses it in almost every way. The only thing I can think of that it doesn't do is sync your contacts, telling you who's calling. This product is so incredible, I don't even care! I've been so elated, I sent EMOTAL an email relating my joy. I also sent Poly an email relating my experience with both products. The EMOTAL FAR surpasses every bluetooth earpiece I have ever experienced. I'm the best testimonial imo, to rate this perfect device. I've had Plantronics/Poly products for the last 5 years and I like this one better. It has a similar design and fit. The only difference is that I did use the larger silicone ear fit rather than a medium size one I typically have used on the Plantronics. I really like that this has a USB-C charger rather than the prioprietary charger. This is much more convenient for travel. I haven't really "tested" the noise cancellation yet, but the other functions are good. I like that the "mute on" and "mute off" cues are said quickly. On the Plantronics it was somewhat slow, and therefore interrupted my ability to listen. In sum, after a week, this has been better than the Plantronics/Poly at 1/3 the price.

I was thrilled to get a headset with very good sound quality for 1/3 the price I was paying for the Plantronics 5200. And I was so happy it had a USB C instead of a fragile micro-usb charging port. But if I put this headset in my pants pocket, the MFB (multifunction button) will get pressed. A lot. And a double-press is a redial. Years ago Plantronics moved this button to a face back instead of out to avoid this problem. I wish Emotal had an app that would let you change the button functions, but there is no app. Two simple changes would make this headset MUCH better: 1) Move the MFB or protect from accidental presses it so I can carry the headset in my pocket. 2) Add a physical on/off switch. "hold the MFB for between 3 and 5 seconds" - that's just stupid.

I ordered this in order to try and cut the cord with poly because customer support since HP took over is terrible. Because this was so inexpensive and had such high reviews, I figured why not; and I'm impressed. There are no annoying sensors like the poly headsets that require you to lay them on their side for ten seconds when the sound quality goes down the drain. Battery life is incredible in comparison to the 5200. The sound quality is as good or better than the 5200. With that said there are some things I'd like to see in this headset and the company, that I'd definitely pay more for. Better branding because I feel this can be more than a Chinese knock off company. This is a good product. A dedicated on/off switch Water resistance or waterproofing A charging case, and obviously, charging case compatibility. Anyways, this is a great headset, and not just for the money.

Really love this so far! I can wash dishes and do things while on the phone that would otherwise hurt my listeners ears! I love that it fits either ear and was really impressed how you don’t even notice it on your ear after a while. Many earphones make my ears sore and Thea do not. Definitely getting another as my husband ordered one for him and I want one too! Anyway, hope this review helps other moms with kids and babies at home. The kids are still heard but even with a baby crying it was way in the background. I am thoroughly impressed!

I wanted a Bluetooth that would have sound quality that was comparable to a Plantronics Voyager Legend. This device is similar in sound quality. It is significantly more affordable. I think it is really good for the price. The battery is also long lasting.

This is my first bluetooth earpiece - so I am having to get accustomed to it and the fit. I have no complaints about it and feel that the more I use it the better I’ll feel about it. I did switch out the ear covering to try to find the best fit. It’s a cool device!
