My Girl Scout troop was planning an activity and didn’t want to spend all of their hard earned cookie money on supplies. After pricing out a similar product locally they decided to purchase these online. Unfortunately we didn’t discover until our activity had already started that one notebook had a lot of scuffs and even areas without color on the cover (peeled off). Since it was a multipack all would need to be exchanged. We felt it wasn’t worth the hassle and simply proceeded with one girl having a less than perfect journal. Likes - value. Looks sturdy (just got them). Started using one for notes. Nice thick paper. HB pencil does not show through. Nice pocket at the end. Nice size journal, but not pocket size if looking for tiny journal. Great if not at a desk as the cover is hard backed. Not heavy though. Cons - Sharpie will go through paper a little. So a little bleed to other side, but I think it would be hard to find better paper, especially at the price. Overall, I would give it a 4.6+. I will buy again. ... show more
