I have been using this compost/manure product in my raised bed gardens for a few years and it has paid off with gorgeous produce. It is soft and lofty without chunks of wood or other debris. There is minimal to no odor. Pure perfection.

While this was a good product and doesn't seem to contain weed seeds (great!), the packaging from shipping was silly. Huge cardboard boxes. Lots of tape. Boxes failed to contain the soil bags anyway and broke when trying to lift them. It's a good thing I do permaculture and just recycled those boxes back into the earth because it would otherwise fill a household bin fast if you' order more than two. ... show more

This is a great option for bagged compost. It is very black and finely milled. I personally have experienced no random objects, rocks, or any miscellaneous in it, just straight up compost! I needed compost and this was the largest I could find on Amazon. Relative to other brands the price is great but relative to buying in bulk from your normal home and garden store it is pretty pricey. But for what it is it's good. Doesn't smell bad. Nice mix. My banana plants love it.
