I was really disappointed when I first got this Bex frame and was putting it together. I had already taken my old bed out and was excited to have a new bed. Was near the end of putting it together and discovered it was missing 2 center support pieces. Decided to put the others in figured it would be fine til I could get the missing pieces. Boy was I wrong! First night was ok, second I rolled over in bed and came crashing down!!! The company was quick to reply and sent me the missing pieces right away. They did take a few days to get here as coming from another country but didn't take long at all. I now have the braces in place and bed put back together. Am very satisfied with the way they handled it. The frame is very sturdy! A lot heavier than I expected!!! Am very pleased with my purchase.

This frame is very sturdy. It took an hour and a half to assemble with two people. The individual parts are heavy After the parts settle after assembly it doesn't make any creaky noise with movement. I was afraid of the slats but they are very secure. I was very impressed.

I purchased this frame bc the last one i purchased was a wooden platform bed with a headboard. It was terrible. This one is much better, it sits up high enough to put all the random stuff I had in boxes, under my bed. The only downside I’ve noticed with this frame is that the mattress can easily slide either way and be hanging off the edge. There are no brackets that come up on the edges or corners to help keep the mattress in place. It’s not a slick and easy slide but if I toss and turn in my sleep, I’ll wake up the next morning and the edge of the mattress is slightly over the edge of the frame. Overall it was a great purchase. It was easy to put together, had it done in about 10mins.

This was so easy to put together & is SO STURDY! The mattress doesn't stay put without a footboard so our mattress slides down a bit every now & then making the pillows fall behind or your head tilt downward. No other issues!!

This little bed is easy-assembly with a handful of screws, some of which screw into threaded holes welded to the square steel frame pieces while others use locking nuts. The side rails are hinged to fold in half but those hinges feel sturdy and stiff without any lateral movement. Bought this as a gift for a relative’s guest room and I expect it will do fine for children or occasional use; not sure about everyday use for a 200 lb adult mainly because of the weight and torque that this design places on the fasteners and welded attachment points. Locktight or other threadlocker should help keep those screws from working loose over time, and the steel is not flimsy, but weight and movement will be absorbed primarily by fasteners and mounts, so that is the limiting factor IMO. For a child I would expect years of use. Room underneath for storage or a low trundle and light enough for one adult to semi-fold and carry from room to room. The frame comes in an amazingly compact box that would be beneficial for storage as a spare or someone who needs portability.
